It was just a suggestion... not just Imps lose fleets. Although, probably 12 MC80s, 14 MC40s, and 40 Nebulons would make more sense since I don't think the Rebels misplaced any MC90s in VII (they were introduced a few months in) or during the gap. :p

K. Back on topic... I dunno about some power-granting artifact, to be honest. As for battles... how about Geonosis? :p

Top-class idea! I love it!

It could be just like Episode II, with Stormtroopers attacking Vaatrik droid forcces. It would give members of the Bounty Hunter's Guild something to do as well.

Could even be a predetermined one... and Geonosis is a much better choice than Metellos. :p

I'm an honorary member of the guild, and I'm already doing something.

4-LOM, the leader, is up to something as well.

The only members that arn't busy are inactive or something.

There already is a canon lost fleet: Katana fleet, unless someone in the RPG already got that one.

How about a Star Forge-ish thing that can make X amount of vessels/droids/tanks and etc free per week?

That would be TO powerful, wouldn't it?

Personally, I like the idea of attaacking a planet, and that each faction are secretly making a push for it. Geonosis, for example, is a main world in the Alliance, so it would be the logical choice for botht he Empire to attack and the Rebels to defend.

And that leaves out the non-BH, non-Rebel, non-Imp players. And the reason that I limited the amount of goods it could produce is because that way it is the slightest bit balanced, but it would still be useful as a constent flow of ships.

I think the best idea is a lost fleet, though.

Uh, no it wasn't. Unless someone godmodded and bypassed CMAC to do it.

Uh, I've asked Moff repeatedly. I've gotten the same answer each time:

"The Empire found it and destroyed it."

...Read up. I said it was found, taken, and then lost over the course of the five years between VII and Endor.

LOL. Depends on your definition... but Katana doesn't exist anymore. Just to set the record straight. :p
