This thread is for announcing any new rules that are added to the list.

1. Multiple Factions
You may have one character in a second faction without a spy designation without penalty. However, this character may not transfer information to your other characters in another faction, or the application will be revoked. Such characters must be approved by the leaders of both factions concerned and by CMAC.

2. Asset Tracking
All faction assets must be tracked on the boards in your private forums. CMAC will refuse to recognize faction data that conflicts with on-board posts, and if you have none, then your faction is deemed to lack assets.

3. Okay, guys... while I appreciate your zeal in defending worlds, I tihnk you underestimate the power of your shield generators. Worlds with hundreds, or even thousands of SLD-26 type units are propagating... and it's insane. If you were to switch them all on at once, you would incinerate the planet unless it was a gas giant or something. So, from now on... for any planet under 20,000 km in diameter, you may only have TEN of those shields active at once. You still have your 300 or 11,000 units, but you can't turn them all on at the same time.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but... let's be reasonable. :p

4. Okay, I'm pretty sure I established this but it seems it needs to be repeated.

As the battlemaster, I am responsible for making sure people don't godmod materially. Part of that is all private transfers of assets, be they money, ships, troops, or anything else must be PMed to me!

It's been bothering me for a few months now, and I'm not tolerating it anymore. From now on, if I find anything fishy, expect a thorough questioning wherein you will be required to provide proof of legitimate ownership.

5. Revolts. CMAC decides when revolts occur... not individual players. Also, planets do not fall at the feet of whoever visits and worship them. For example, if Imperial negotiators were to be waltzing around on Mon Calamari, it's likely they'd be rapidly detained. Same with other factions and xenophobic worlds or worlds with histories against particular factions.

But just because a certain player wants a revolt doesn't mean they get it. Period.

And on a side note... no planet is 110% loyal to any person or faction. That's just silly.

6. Effective Monday, at the end of each month, faction leaders are required to PM a complete listing on their faction's current characters to Kalydon Skirata. Factions will be judged for their activity based on these listings, and factions that are defunct will be dealt with.

Lists will be due on the last day of each month, so the first one is due, obviously, on January 31st.

7. Private assets worth more than one billion credits resale total will require maintenance to be paid. Note that this applies to the full total of said assets, not per asset.

I'm aware that most of you know of this rule already, however, this is just covering all the bases.

8. Attempting to railroad another player out of a faction, or out of the game itself, is in fact against the rules. And for anyone who does it, I strongly recommend to the faction leader (in the case of faction problems) sever that person from the faction. In the event the offender is attempting to remove someone else from the game, CMAC will sever that person from the game.

Do I make myself clear?

9. Effective immediately, all non-combat personnel (example, Intelligence officers, Security personnel, etc.) will require maintenance. The fee, per person, is 2 credits.

Also, there is a recruiting fee for troops and non-combat personnel. For troops, it is 750 credits. For non-combat, 600 credits.

Finally, personal armies (such as bodyguard contingents) 1,000 or more in number will have to pay maintenance.

I should point out that recruiting fees apply to ALL existing troops as well as new ones.

All fighters, hyperspace capable or not, when travelling between systems of more than 1,000 lightyears apart must have a carrier craft to deploy from on arrival, and may only do so IN BATTLE.
