Hm, either you have problems connecting with characters and the literature, or you're a heartless monster!! :P

Is this the one with that virus? If so, I know exactly why he wept... and I will beat him senseless. >_>

I'll side with Option B.

In all seriousness, I can connect with characters, and I can feel saddened by the loss or death of a character...but I do not believe I have ever shed an actual tear over one. :P

Well, now I definitely won't be shedding a tear at Arlyn's passing. :p

Ams, I actually felt a little giddy when I heard about the virus, since Karen finally got some of her own medicine (Well, not really, but it's a start), but what made me shed a tear is how Jacen died, and how Denning didn't hesitate to remind us every chapter how he used to be a good person, and a hero, and blah blah. So yeah, that's why.

Normally I'd say 'we'll pass that bridge when it comes', but that bridge doesn't exist, dear Amsie. :P

You better put "Spoiler Alert" in the thread title. :p

And Jacen's death was needlessly heroic. "Oh, in his last seconds, it was my dear brother and not the evil bastard that ruthlessly murdered my aunt and millions of others."

I, for one, am GLAD about Jacen's death. It's about time.

Yeah, who couldn't see that coming... Villians don't have a very long life expectancy in Star Wars...

That's what's so nice about VIII... our villains never go away! :p

Of course, then there's the question of who is a villain and who is a hero. <_<

Imma go with the Rebellion ... the fact that they stand for peace, justice and all things fuzzy doesn't change the fact that as far as the legitimate laws of the galaxy go, they are terrorists.

Depends on your definition of a terrorist.

...Actually, they're not terrorists anymore. Since they're a recognized government, their actions are now military, not terrorist. :p
