Nobody's posted the trailer here yet?

Tisk, tisk. I must say I'm a wee bit dissapointed.

Why not post the actual site as well with the arguably better quality trailer...? :P

Who wants to bet that the military depot in the trailer is Area 51? It'd make sense, with the whole conspiracy theory that Indy's going to be battling aliens.

Uh, yea, posting that here didn't even cross my mind. I moderate the Indy IV forum over at TF.N and I was busy over there all day.

But yea, this trailer is freakin' awesome! It captures the epic feel of the original three perfectly! And those of you naysayers that keep insisting Ford is too old, I think this trailer puts that to rest. Yes, folks, that's him doing all those stunts! This movie is going to freakin' rock!

"Damn, I thought that was closer." *commences to punch troops*

Best. Line. Ever.

Just got finished seeing a midnight showing of the movie.

Amazing movie, great ending, and finally some closure to unfinished business that started in Raiders. :D

Its not the best entry in the series by a long shot, but it does definatley supersceed Temple of Doom by a long shot...I enjoyed it despite some shouts that the storyline wasn't that good...and I even enjoyed Shia Le Bouf's character.

Great movie overall, not happy with the ending (and not happy with the last 30 minutes to a lesser extent).

If you looked at the refridgerator it said Lead Lined. He could have lead poisining.

Lead lining means nothing. You need several inches of lead to stop gamma radiation. A thin cladding is nothing.

But there's already a guy in the movies who can survive close-by nuclear blasts. And Harrison Ford is no John Connor, dammit! :p

I like how people dispute the realism of surviving nuclear radiation inside a fridge, while at the same time completely ignoring how Indy managed to fly through the air hundreds of feet, crash land, roll to a stop, and still climb out relatively unscathed without so much as a seatbelt inside that box of death.

I know Indy has that certain amount of badass in his blood, but I thought that was pushing it just a tad.

Oh, I should note that the fridge would have vaporized from the heat, or if it was too far out, it would be crushed flat by the pressure wave. Happy now? :p

It goes along with Stormtrooper's shocking aim as a movie technique to preserve the hero. Indiana Jones and The Pit of Litteral Death just doesn't have the same ring to it.

How so?

Have you seen the footage of Japan and what actually survived the blast?

I have. I'm also an engineering student and studying the strengths of materials is part of what I have to learn. I also have an interest in nuclear weaponry... for better or worse, so I'm quite familiar with the capabilities of various yields of nuclear bombs as well as a rough graph of yield versus time.

Although, as someone said... it is just a movie, and an Indy film at that. I guess I can forgive Harrison a little indulgence. :p

Fairly sweet. I like. Unrealistic, though, but it's Indy. Did anyone else catch the 'I have a bad feeling about this?' :P
