His breaths were quick, shallow, each one condensing the moment it left his lips and met cold air. His fingers dangled, constantly in silent movement to keep circulation going. The extremities were the first targets of the bitter freeze. The cloth of his robes offered little protection from the environment, but the layer closest to the skin kept his torso at a regulated temperature. He was not made for this climate, but adaptability was key.

He is standing on top of a government building, and down below he sees his target exiting the building across the street. The light spilling from the open door silhouttes him, and the bright red landspeeder keeps him easy to see in the darkness as he pulls away. Xaph already knows where his target is going to go and here, on top of the buildings, he can get there first. Ledges become hand holds, over hangs become vaulting opportunities as he lets his newly returned Force Sensitivity to take over. He's been finding it harder to use the Force actively, but in a situation like this, he just lets go. He is no longer the sole occupier of his body, he has invited a welcome friend in, and they are in complete agreement.

He gets so caught up in the act that he almost forgets where he is going, but he stops on the building of his target's residence. He has rehearsed this infiltration, and knows where to go. He jumps down the small alley-way, and uses the wall of the building opposite to slow down his speed. He pushes off, grabbing onto a window ledge back on his target building and pulls himself up to it. From his sleeve comes a small device, he pushes it against the glass with a small push, the entire pane shatters, and falls down the 30-odd feet to the ground. He has to repeat this for the second layer of glazing, and this glass falls into the hall. He takes care not to tread on it, for doing so would leave a telling of his passage.

The interior layout is familiar to him, as it is the same as every residence in this area, and he quickly makes his way to the kitchen, where he will wait.

As all this happens, the Chiss is making his way home. When he arrives, he takes the elevator up to his floor, and when he gets in, he notices the draft coming from his hallway. He goes to check it out, but is grabbed roughly from behind and taken down, a gloved hand covering his face. Words are whispered into his ears, a threat, and then an offer. He nods to both. A flick of the wrist, and a knife appears from somewhere in the gloved hand's sleeve. This is the punctuation mark that ends the agreement. He will do as he is told. He will stay quiet. The knife dissapears, and he feels a blow to the back of his head as it knocks him into a wall. When he is up, the gloved hand, and it's owner, is gone.
