Avaritus had woken up just an hour ago, and had ordered the Rick James onto the landing pad. He didn't know why Vader named the ship the way he did, but he didn't care. The ship served it's purpose. He didn't know if Vader would be angry if he took the ship, but he didn't care. The man had the credits to build a new one.

Setteling himself in the pilot's seat, he keyed the start-up proceedures, and began his pre-flight check. After a minute, he was ready. Powering up the engines, Avaritus transmitted his security clearance to the Coruscant Air Defense, and rocketed into space, punching in the coordinates for Yinchorr. Jax would meet him once he landed, and the Jedi he called for would show up soon. Things were going very well for him.

The Rick James is now enroute to Yinchorr.

I wanted it named the Wayne Brady...

As the Rick James exited hyperspace, Avaritus walked into the cockpit, and flicked the switch on the computer panel. After a few seconds the interface came up, and Avaritus sent his clearance codes to the Yinchorr orbital defense cannons. He briefly wondered if Jax had given him the wrong codes, in order to kill him quickly, but banished the thought from his mind. If Jax wanted him dead, he'd tell Avaritus, and then kill him.

He recieved the confirmation to make his approach, and punched in the planetside coordinates to his navicomputer, then set it on auto-pilot. He had things to do before he reached the training complex.

With both lightsabers attached to his belt, one on either side, Salo walked up the ramp into the Sith Infiltrator. The hood of his black Jedi robe covered the top of his head and shaded his face. He strode into the cockpit where his Master was getting ready to take off. Salo sat down in a seat with his eyes closed not saying a word, mentally preparing himself for what was to come.

"Very good, my apprentice," said Avaritus, as he began pre-flight checks, and startup. "The coming battle will be very dangerous, but I'm confident that you can handle it," his voice trailing off, Avaritus added one last thing as an afterthought, "Just make you sure can."

As the various displays winked on, Avaritus powered up the engines, and rocketed out of the hangar, broadcasting the clearance code Jax had given him. Once he was clear of the planet, he sat in his seat, eyes closed, and searched for the mind yet again.

He found it much quicker this time. It was surrounded by people, and seemed annoyed. Avaritus searched the mind, trying to find a hint of the location, an image, a name, something. A few more minutes, and he had a brief flash of a tall building, with a very recognizable logo. It was the CorSec HQ. He was on Corellia.

Plotting the course, Avaritus turned to his apprentice, and said, "I will fight Denora. There is a possibility of his annoying little bodyguard being there. He won't be easy to defeat."

Salo looked at Avaritus, and said, "Who is his bodyguard?"

Avaritus pushed the lever forward on the console, and as the Rick James entered hyperspace, he said, "Boba Fett."

The Rick James is now enroute to Corellia.

The second the Rick James dropped out of hyperspace, Avaritus engaged his false transponder, and brought the ship down to a small landing area just outside the main city. He knew where Denora was now, and it was only a matter of time before the man died.

He knew Jase wouldn't fight him with his full anger, his full hatred unless Avaritus found a way to bring out the old Jase. The brutal, uncaring killer. Avaritus knew how he would bring it out. Avaritus would take everything he loved, and cherished away from the man.

After they had landed, Avaritus stepped off of the ship, Eximius behind him. They would trail the two, and attack at dark. The trouble was hiding his presence in the force. Eximius was no problem, but himself... His murderous intent could be sensed from a mile away, and he knew it. He would have to calm himself, and hide his presence completly. It was possible, but it wouldn't be easy.

Smileing to himself, he looked at Eximius, and said, "Let's move."

When they walked down the ramp off the ship, Salo looked around where they had landed. Taking in his surroundings. Then he focused his attention on his master after hearing him talk.

"Let's move"

Salo nodded and answered, "Of course. I'm ready to fight."

The smell...The pain... That's what woke him up. The smell of charred flesh, and coagulated blood. The searing pain still fresh through his whole leg, and the now cold, sticky moistness that he felt on his entire lower body.

Jase had hit an artery with that strike. Avaritus marveled at the fact that he was still alive. The lightsaber must've cauterized the wound enough to where it didn't let him bleed to death, but he could tell he had lost a lot of blood.

Looking over, he saw that Eximius was still unconcious. A few seconds later, he felt the ship exit hyperspace. He wondered what would happen if he didn't transmit the security codes. He didn't know what would happen, but he couldn't do anything about it. He couldn't move because of his injury, and loss of blood.

Minutes later, he felt the ship touch down, and heard the boarding ramp at the back of the ship open. Seconds later, he found himself being hauled onto a stretcher, and moved out. He was being taken to the medical facilities, along with Eximius.

Meditation. He had been doing a lot of it lately. The Force was showing him images of the future, a grand mosaic of the Empire's triumph over the rebels. But a few pieces were missing from the picture. Tiles unaccounted for. The Force wasn't showing him the future, but a possible future, one that would come if the right choices were made, the correct actions taken.

In an instant, Avaritus knew what he had to do in order to secure the Empire's hold over the galaxy. To secure his power in the Force. He would not be just some footnote in history, attatched to the fall of the Empire. He would be the headline, driving the Empire to victory over the cowardly Rebellion. But in order to succeed, he first had to gamble. The stakes would be his life, against the Empire's victory. He needed to speak with Vader. He could no longer hide away just an apprentice, on Yinchorr. His plan was much more ambitious than just one apprentice. He planned on a whole order of the Sith.

Eximius was close now. Avaritus had sent for him minutes ago, telling him to pack, and to be prepared for a fight, if it came down to one. He didn't, however, tell the apprentice where they were going, or who they were seeing. All he knew was that they were making their way to one of the most dangerous places Eximius could go in the galaxy.

Standing up, he made his way to the cockpit, and waited until he heard the foot-steps of his apprentice walking up the corridor that lead to the cockpit to close the boarding ramp, and initiate the take-off proceedures. A minute later, they were ready, and Avaritus lifted the ship off of the hangar floor, and piloted the Rick James out of the hangar, and into the Yinchorri sky. Once they had hit space, he punched in the coordinates for Coruscant, and smiled to himself, as the stars elongated into lines.

The Rick James is now enroute to Coruscant.

Once the Rick James came out of hyperspace, Avaritus keyed in the security frequency for Coruscant, and transfered his clearance codes to the flight control towers. Once that was finished, he logged his course from the far side of the planet, to the Imperial Palace, and sent it to the controllers, as well.

A few seconds passed, and then an acknowledgement came in the form of a waypoint, and a course he was to follow. Avaritus brought the Infiltrator in on the course, and kept to it, until the ship hovered just over the landing pad. Keyeing the boosters, he set the ship down. Standing up, he sighed, as he attatched his silver lightsaber to his belt. It's weight was comforting on his side. Nodding to Eximius to collect his saber, as well, he lowered the boarding ramp, and stepped out of the ship.
