Ehh...just got back from seeing it. I didn't enjoy it as much as the other two. I'll get into a review in a bit.

I saw it, I thought it was really good in a sense of it's own. Disney wanted to make this different, than the other films to make things unique for each.

I'm waiting for Han to post her review, then I'll make mine.

I can't stand this movie, aside from Johnny Depp. He's funny.

The movie just stopped two hours in, around the scene where they Release Callipso(Calypso?), and I figured it was near over. I got pissed off to learn that there was an hour left.

It was about a half an hour at that point.

I believe the first was the best, this one second. It needed a few more things (like a Will Turner that acted like Will Turner) in less time.

No, it was an hour. Because I asked my friend, and he said 'an hour'.

It was... ok. However it was missing a lot of the fun pirate adventure and it turned more into an action movie than POTC1. However, I'm more reassured since I've read something that the writers intended for the curse to be broken after 10 years if the person was faithful, and for those of you that saw the end scene, you know what I mean.

I'm not divulging details since I don't want to spoil anyone. :p

After re-watching the others, this one wasn't by far as good. 1 was lots of plays with characters and plots. 2 was a mix of this plus action (I actually enjoyed this one alot). 3, however, was basically fight after fight against unkillable people. Plus (Spoiler) the entire Calypso thing, which the movie revolved around, didn't work, was stupid, and made no sense. Plus shee didn't end up doing anything.
So yah. :?

But like I said, that was totally pointless. That helped no one at all. Plus the fact the Brits all just ran away was stupid.

Didn't help? The pirates used the Solo Slingshot to give them the advantage which, y'know meant that they won that particular bit.

Kilvec, I completely agree. As askaninja said, movies 2 and 3 introduced hundreds of storylines, EVERYthing had a storyling. Thing is, they never finished em.

Ronald Spiers: I bet if you went back two thousand years, you'd hear a couple centurions standing around yakking about how Tertius lopped off the heads of some Carthaginian prisoners.

I thought the movie was amazing especially with the end going to be leading into Pirates 4

Its common sense that there will be a 4th having to do with a new enemy and the Fountain of Youth!
