He winked after making a remark about her sanity, and the thanagarian only smiled. My sanity was on the verge, everytime Han Solo comes into the picture. He does nothing, but makes the things involved worse. If he went about things the right, respectful way, half the nerf shit that happens, simply wouldn't. She sighed internally as he continued with his three points, yet this second tangent was much more... interesting. No one in the galaxy hated Boba Fett more, except the man sitting before her. At last they had a common attribute, a dark emotion of hatred towards a vicious criminal. Curiosity and the security involving the information she was about to release took a back seat to her own personal hatred of the man. Her lips pierced with a more decorative smile.

"Bells do ring, Admiral." the thanagarian accessed her computer monitor and with a single click, the bounty hunter's image appeared on the screen. "We captured him all right, however, we had a hostile target break into the mainframe of one of our defense platforms and access public and military information concerning the man. Under my discretion and advice of the Intelligence Department and Inter-Agency Cooperation, we've decided to move Boba Fett to Rhen Var ahead of schedule." she paused and explained a different tangent, "Rhen Var is a place where high class criminals serve their time. Ex-politicians, ex-generals, admirals, etc etc. It's a cold world, a place where people go, but because of the harsh reality of justice and life sentences, the galaxy rarely hears from them again." She quickly covered her bases, "Not because of the silence treatment we issue, but because of the terms they serve. Til death." Although it was a minor lesson that would probably go in one of Solo's ear and right out the other, Arlyn felt it was necessary to warn the man of any future hostile acts that may slam him in far more trouble than simply gaining abnormal suspicion from the Chief of State's pardon pen.

"Any ways." Arlyn's smile returned, "I know that you despise the man as much as I do, so you'll be pleased to hear that he leaves today. I'm getting the necessary arrangements made and the such, but he'll be serving his sentences a few weeks early." She flipped the monitor around so Solo could view it, "If you wanted to say any final goodyes, Admiral... I'd be more than willing to grant you permission to visit." But she had a condition, "Under a single condition. I need your testimony of what occured last night, before you speak with Boba." He would be greeted by the Sector Chief that he so kindly dismissed from his house last night. "Shouldn't take more than a half an hour." She waited for his response and the third point he wanted to make. Stressing the final word in her last sentence, she said, "What do you say, Admiral?"

Han, you can just say you went in and told them everything and how much of a smart ass the Sector Chief was. If you wanted to write out Han's version of the story, that's great. But I can understand if you're pressured for time. And sorry for the spelling errors, I was in a rush :P

The small glow emanating from the monitor cast an eerie blue light upon Han's face as he leaned forward to study the information regarding the infamous bounty hunter. It was nearly identical to the records he had pulled up the previous night on his own personal datapad - the very records that could've cost him the easy way out. You need to start covering your tracks better, Solo. For all you know, that security leak may have been Fett's one way ticket to Rhen Var.

A scowl dropped over his features at the thought of this mission becoming complicated. If he wasn't able to meet with Fett in time to convince him to help find his daughter, life was gonna get difficult for a whole lot of people in security. Not to mention the guilt of possibly being the reason for Fett's departure to Rhen Var and ultimately, pissing away any real chance of rescuing Jaina was gonna drive him insane. Knock it off, Solo! You still got your chance. Just play it cool.

"You're granting me an audience with Fett?" Han's brow lifted in a moment of disbelief as he glanced back up to the woman's face. "I'd say I'm more than interested, Chief. I have a debt I wanna settle with 'ole tin head." He paused just enough to allow his familiar cocky grin to settle on his lips. "Although, I wanna change the 'conditions' a bit," he said coolly. "You take me to Fett now and I'll have that report on your desk first thing tomorrow morning."

"Deal." the word sliced through the air and killed any kind of remaining tension between the two individuals. Her brown eyes seemed to slither their way into Han's emotions, her thanagarian acute observations taking in his smug grin and the complexity of his unannounced triumph. Curiosity spurred within her once again as she looked into the Rebellion Hero's hazel eyes. Her lips moved, yet only formed an equally self-satisfied smile.

"Admiral, I won't be able to give you the red carpet treatment here at the headquarters, as more importantly, I will be out of my office for the most of the afternoon, if not the entire day." Making this known to the man was crucial, and the observation of his reactions even more so. "I'll ask Arranianna to bring you down.” Eve took her que and dialed to the secretary. “Fett's leaving 13:00 hours and I want you out of his cell thirty minutes before. No exceptions or adjustments." Thirty minutes would allow the arrangements to be made and the dummy speeders to be set and locked into place. The luxury of having Boba Fett under custody was that thousands of his images were walking around the galaxy. Granted, most were older, however, some genetic copies existed that resembled him perfectly. And some were rebellion agents. Her eyes beamed at the thought of the bounty hunter woman rescuing a decoy.

"While you are speaking to the prisoner, please remember, your actions are recorded. Anything you say or do, will be on record." her eyes looked for any sign of opposition.

Rising she extended her hand, "I'm not entirely against you, Han. I support you and your family and it is more than just my duty. If you or any Solo requires anything, let me know."

"Got it," Han acceded with a slight quirk to his shoulders and that same smug grin still plastered on his face. "You'll be out all day, Fett leaves at 1300, the place is bugged and you're willing to help me. Great." His last word was tinged with a hint of sarcasm as he rose to his feet and reluctantly clasped the security chief's outstretched hand. Suck-up...

Although the woman's instructions and regulations seemed harmless enough to an average officer, Han had that keen sense knowing - to weed out the skifter before the person handling it was able to make off with the pot. Arlyn was the one handling the skifter this round and Han wanted to know exactly what it was she was up to. She was being too nice and Han trusted her about as far as he could throw a rancor. Don't worry about it now. You got a job to do. If she comes around later, you can just take 'er up at her own game then.

Han caught the glint of movment out of the corner of his eye and instinctively turned to look over his shoulder at the secretary entering the room. Apparently the winged woman wasn't lying about the bit about having an escort to take him down to Fett's cell. No matter. If she was anything like the receptionist he spoke to the other day, she would be a pushover.

"I guess this is my ride," Han quipped as he indicated the new arrival with the flick of his chin. He allowed his hand to slip from the security chief's grip and offered her one last lopsided smirk. "I'll see ya around, Chief. Glad you could help me out." His hand trailed behind him in a sloppy wave as he followed the secretary out of the room. His next stop - Boba Fett.

"I'll see ya around, Chief. Glad you could help me out." Han Solo ended with a sloppy wave of departure. The Chief of Security watched her secretary lead the man out and thought, Indeed you will, Admiral. Her eyes watched the security feed showing Han Solo led from the office and off to the basement to face his rival, of sorts. Not wasting another minute in her office, a Jedi was waiting for her and if she was fast enough, she would be able to catch a ride with her husband and Drake. Wrapping everything together, she'd be able to end her day as Security Chief and start the afternoon as a mother.

"Eve, secure the office." the brunette called into the headset and the supercomputer began to shut the systems down, and activate the internal security. "And keep an eye on Han." She didn't want any temperamental outbursts ending with a bruised Admiral and an equally beaten prisoner on her hands. Walking out of the office and into the lobby, Alatáriël greeted Kyp. "Mr. Durron, thank you for meeting me and sorry for the delay. I was intending for the Council to meet me, but I have word a Jedi has returned from the world of Kashyyyk and I'm most interested in meeting a friend of Master Yoogle's."

Kyp had arrived long before the bothan at the Temple and Arlyn wasn't about to waste missing Ryan and the speeder he would be taking. "If you will accompany me, we will be leaving with my husband and Drake."

Ryan walked side by side with the individual when his communicator rang. Faltering slightly, the cyber suit still wrapped around his body he activated the function.

Arranianna's voice was on the other end, "Mr. Davad. If you're still in the building, your wife requests that you hold transportation just yet. Jedi Knight Kyp Durron and the Chief herself will be going to the Jedi Temple as well."

"Of course, we'll bring it around to the front entrance?"

"Perfect. Have a great outing, Mr. Davad."

"Thank you."

And the communication ended. Arlyn talked to Han more quickly than Ryan anticipated and yet, he was enjoying the fact she would be with him. The sooner they finished this, the sooner they could make it home and go out with the kids. "It'll be a moment longer." Ryan told Drake and asked, "Where is the short droid you brought with you yesterday?" Ryan recalled his wife mentioning the sidekick and it was absent.

FYI, R3 isn’t exactly ‘short’. He’s about as tall as Drake is.

The question surprised Drake, as the droid had followed him in and he hadn’t mentioned going anywhere.

”He’s right…”

He looked around and to his surprise, didn’t see the droid anywhere in the lobby.

”Oh goody, he left! I was never too fond of him.”

Drake ignored the cynical voice in his head and went over to the receptionists desk.

”Did you happen to see a walking astromic leave?” he asked her.
“Yes I did.” She responded. “He mentioned to me that he had gone back down to “the ship” and asked me to inform you of that should you ask where he had gone.”

”Huh. That’s odd.”
”Guess he went down to our ship.”

Quick post, lots o' work to do

Snapping from his meditative state Kyp noticed the Security Cheif in front of him. The small amount of tranquility he had was broken and now the burning sensation returned to his legs. Before Kyp could complain he was cut off.
"Mr. Durron, thank you for meeting me and sorry for the delay. I was intending for the Council to meet me, but I have word a Jedi has returned from the world of Kashyyyk and I'm most interested in meeting a friend of Master Yoogle's." she said seemed anxoius.

Like being woke up from a deep slumber Kyp felt cranky. This was not some kind of political social. Yoogle wouldn't have called a meeting for no reason at all, Kyp thought to himself. After a short statement the Security Cheif began to walk away. Pulling his hood back down began to follow her. Though Kyp felt safe here, he had felt that same way at the Temple till it was bombed. Inside his cloak Kyp kept a hand on his emerald lightsaber.

One thing always bothered Kyp though. There was always so much secretcy around the meetings. For once Kyp wished they'd just tell him what was going on beforehand.

Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad's legs met Ryan's as they shared a quick sign of affection. Kyp Durron and Drake were nearby as a speeder was pulled around. The group entered a speeder it shot into the sky and soared towards the Jedi Temple. Leaning her head on Ryan's shoulder, the thanagarian began to wonder. The thoughts of so many hours invested in the Rebellion was growing upon her and affecting the duty of being a mother. Her parents were absent for the most of her life, and that is not how Alatáriël imagined the beginning of her children's lives.

"Ryan." her body finally aligning with her spirit and the feelings for their triplets. She stroked his arm, "I want to speak with you later." Ryan kissed his wife's forhead and she leaned into him. You're right. Was all she thought.

As ZIM exited the shuttle with Cyler, he was somewhat surprised to find a group of security personnel waiting for him.

“We’ll take him from here, Preator.”
”Is that so?”
“Yes. We have orders to take him to a cell. You just missed the security chief, and are to proceed to a medical facility to wait for her and further orders.”

He held out a datapad that contained the location of the facility, as well as the orders themselves. Taking it, ZIM handed the man the datapad he had received that had told him to bring Cyler here.

”Very well.”

With that, he waited for the men to take Cyler into the facility, and the reboarded the shuttle for his next destination.

Using the lifts on his feet, Drake was easily able to gain ground on the man he was pursuing. But what he thought was odd was that the man was running in a direction where it seemed he would have no place to go. Soon, it appeared that he would have the man trapped.

”We got him now!”

But it was not to be. As Drakes target approached a ledge in the ship parking area, he did one of the things that the cyborg least expected him to do – he jumped.

”Now we don’t have to get him.”

Running to the edge, he looked down just in time to see the man take out a strange item and throw it at the wall that was passing him by. The item, it so happened, was attached to some kind of tether, and as the item hit the wall, it caught the man and slowed his decent, allowing him to stop and swing himself to a nearby building.

“That sneaky…”

Not one to let his quarry get away, Drake followed suit and jumped over the edge, using his repulstorlifts to guide his decent and catch the cord that had been used to lower the other guy. Upon catching it, he let himself fall as fast as he thought he could go and still hang on as he reached the bottom.

”Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!”
“Shut up, IMM!”

Upon reaching the bottom of the rope, he used his lifts to propel himself off the wall across to where his target had landed, rolling as he reached it in order to keep up his momentum. The mans stunt had bought him significant distance, but Drake could still see him and got off a couple more shots, both of which failed to hit their intended target.

Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad entered her office, the doors sealing and Eve silently shut down the Rebellion internal feeds. With a click of a button a geonosian built holo grid rose from the ground and extended the battles on the triad world attack. Keeramak's hologram was activated, Ryan's, Brote Heckler was present and so was three more additional personages; all on a secure and Eve-insured safety.

"Ams Jendob..." Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad began.

The thanagarian angel closed the conference, the holo projections disappearing one by one til only her husband was left. Her fingers reached for him, but in a blink he was gone.

Her eyes closed, the meeting setting her slightly emotional. Brote Heckler's last words of conviction and the plan that was laid before them would be completed. It would be bloody, it would be dangerous, but it had to be completed.

A man would be dead soon....

Her eyes closed as water formed on the edges of her lashes and slowly dripped. She gasped for breath, the emotion overpowering her. The destiny the individuals in the conference held, the people they represented and the steps they needed to take to create a free galaxy was... costly.

"Mommy?" a child's voice called as Irina and Lucas entered the room. Arlyn brushed the tears from her face and peered into her mother's eyes. For the first time, Arlyn understood what reasoning existed in her mother as Arlyn was sent off of Thanagar. Arlyn smiled creating an illusion for her son, as she approached the grandmother and grandchild. As Arlyn embraced them, Irina kissed Arlyn's forehead.

"It'll be over soon, baby." Irina whispered into her daughter's ears.

Irina spoke more softly now, the grandchild asleep in her arms. "Arlyn, I think it's time I discuss something both your father and I agree on." Her eyes held fear and regret, with sorrow towards her daughter. "It's not too late. These deals, these alliances. End them. End them now, before something terrible happens. Call Ryan back... he doesn't need to be fighting in a war the Ssi-Ruuk cowards are using you to fight!"

Aryln took a step from her mother, she was saying this now?! "Mom..."

Irina began to speak in thanagarian as a desperate plea, "My child, I know this is hard to hear with how encouraging your father and I have been. We orchestrated half of these plans, but I need you to listen to me here, right now. It's over. The Galactic Empire needs to be destroyed. We are looking at this in a bloody way, a way a thanagarian looks at things after decades of war and bloodlust. We need to align with purely the Rebellion, otherwise, we all face treason.... the children, Arlyn. We must place their future above all of ours!"

The emotional tornado was ravaging inside the thanagarian daughter. In return, Arlyn also spoke in their native tongue, "Mama. Que -" her voice shook as Lucas stirred in Irina's arms. Arlyn's hands shieled her eyes, wiping away the tears that had come. Her mind throbbed beating with the sins and the secret lies. Illusions of the past flashed across, seeing each mistake, each turn towards a dark side.

"You're right." Arlyn whispered, "I can't continue fighting a black war against the Empire. It isn't right." she collapsed into a nearby chair.

"Bring him home." Irina's voice had dropped to a peaceful level while returning to Galactic Basic, "Bring my son home." her smile brought more tears from the already broken woman. Irina walked away, she was heading back to the estate to the other grandchildren; Arlyn's children.

For now, all Arlyn could do is sit there and ponder the actions of the past, the wars she had designed to destory something that would probably forever plague the galaxy... and dream of a new future, something that wasn't so dark and elusive.

It had almost been four weeks since Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad been inside of her office. Eve helped significantly with all the different types of reports, the daily protocols and official business. It would also seem her second, played a rather interesting role in the most VIP case the Rebellion had probably received since it's formation. Han Solo, one of the heroes of Yavin IV, Hoth and Endor had finally crossed the line. Cooperating and assisting a convicted criminal, who happened to be one of the most deadly humanoids in the galaxy, in a perfect escape from the security teams.

And the more the thanagarian thought of the incident, the more she regretted the private conference she had granted Solo to Fett, and some more, intimate knowledge of the planetary transfer. Her eyes burned with hidden fury, yet something had driven the reckless corellian to bail his greatest rival.

Jaina.

The thanagarian let out a deep sigh, her eyes traced along the traffic lines of the Denon airways until the speeders appeared like tiny dots in the scenery. He managed to evade moderate detection, but other crime scene evidence would soon grant Arlyn the authority she needed to arrest him. Afterall, Fett assisted Jase Denora, in Calias Ketra's death. Han Solo had not only broke dozens of laws, but brought this to a personal level.

Silently, the Security Chief waited for the junkyard-looking YT-1300 to land into their security nets. She patiently waited for the smug Corellian and his wookiee companion to walk from the ramp and into the iron clamps of justice.

"He's returned." the elegant blonde woman approached the desk of the Security Chief, but Arlyn didn't need the most expensive machine in the galaxy, to confirm the smuggler's arrival. Han Solo lost the privileged ranks of General, Admiral, even perhaps, the rank of captain aboard his private Millennium Falcon, as the vessel crawled with inspection and investigation teams. The warrant wasn't difficult to achieve, however, the feelings of many teetered on a very emotional plain.

Thanagarian fingertips pressed several keys, the holo videos activating around her... various agents, and placed surveillance watched the man, his wookiee, and the small rescued child emerge and quickly disappear into their private apartment.

Arlyn was relieved Jaina had returned, alive. And for this, she sympathized with the injustice Han Solo had created. The life of one's child created a chaotic imbalance... something that the Corellian would probably use in his defense.

"Are the teams in place?" Arlyn broke her own concentration, speaking in an emotionless stream of words. Eve confirmed.

Locking two side arms into place, the pair exited the Office of the Rebellion Security Chief.

Safely inside of the Security Headquarters, the consecutive speeders pulled to a halt and all turned to observe. Eve's main computer processed the situation; the emotional high and low of the two rival individuals composed many different sensations for the Human Replica Droid. In a way, she envied the thought of sensing actual emotions and the ability to feel so strongly even if it was a personal quarrel that seemed pointless. It, however, clouded both of their judgments and complicated obstacles formed.

The security was tight with the speeder caravan, Eve sensing and computing the amount of security Arlyn had placed around the two high profiles and it was sufficient beyond anything Eve would have estimated. The door opened automatically allowing Eve to step from the vehicle and instantly she detected the eyes of many forming around her.

Being the first to emerge, allowed whispers of the former Commander in Chief in various forms to support to denouncement. Three security officers approached the back of the speeder, their blasters raised towards Han Solo's torso in case he managed to pull off any of his trademark escapes.

It was improbable, yet the thanagarian foiled any possible attempt.

A second speeder door was opened and the wookiee moan and complaint surged loudly into the hangar deck. Chewbacca's security escort doubled, with six blasters trained on the furry body.

The Security Chief emerged with an emotional high and such a sense of victory, Eve and several nearby officers overheard a smirk and an accomplished chuckle.

Eve took her position at Arlyn's side, ready to protect the woman against any kind of danger and to observe the transpiring situation. Han Solo rose from the back of the security vehicle and into Arlyn's taunting. "Right this way, Mr. Solo."

Security Chief's Waiting Room

A distant sound of music played, yet it was covered by the nearby voices and movement of officers. Something had transpired since Alexander had arrived, and from what he had understood, she had just made one of the most dangerous political arrests possible. Han Solo had been taken from his children, and now, he would surface to this very room and undergo a rather indepth investigation.

It appeared the Rebels didn't enjoy losing Boba Fett, and suspicions of who Han Solo had received assistance from were not in his favor as well. The teenager leaned against the wall, knowing it would be a long while until his own visit would be granted, and until then, he had every intention of laying low and listening to the buzz.

Something jerked in his pocket. Again. Shaking to grab the device, Alexander realized someone had slipped him a communicator. It was tiny, and rather light compared to what he had seen before...

Picking it up, he held it to his ear.

"Alexander." the voice called to every fiber of his body, "The Time for Milo Rambaldi's device has come. The New Beginning is here...."

Sorry for the short post but I'm pressed for time(need to head back to class in 15 min) and I wanted to get this plot rolling again

The room in which the Security Chief had dropped him was surprisingly silent aside from the continuous whirling sound emitting from the cooling vents directly above his position. Han sat slumped against the hard backing of the chair with his gaze lowered, his fingers drumming an annoying rhythm against the durasteel casing of the binders secured around his wrists. All this waiting was beginning to drive him nuts. He knew the winged woman was doing this on purpose, trying to wear him down or something. Han smirked at the thought. Well, that wasn't gonna work. If anything, he'd drive her insane with his constant musical tapping. That'll get her in gear.

Finally, his gaze lifted and his hazel eyes connected with her form, a mischievous glint evident in their greeinish hue. Without a word, the Corellian began to hum softly in time to the tapping, gradually getting louder as the fractured beat became more intense. He seemed to be oblivious to her body language just then, but he was keeping score. After all, the whole idea was to drive her to her limits until she eventually snapped. It was only a matter of time.

The beat continued...

Thump. Thump. Bang. Tap.

Han Solo's voice reached the very back of her mind, as he droned on and on in his musical 'talent'. It was nothing of the sort, his attempts to get inside of the woman's brain were...interesting. They worked, in a way, but she wouldn't show her annoyance.

"Sounds like a thanagarian war song..." she remarked, using her planet's history in an attempt to detour him, "Perhaps you and Shayera got along better than the record shows..." The security officers around her, chuckled in the response, staring at Solo and waiting for the typical retort. Now was not the time for petty remarks and rebuttals.

He had been missing for almost a month, and not a soul in the Rebellion knows where or what he had to do in order to retrieve the lost twin.

When comparing Han Solo to herself, they didn't seem all too different. Tavion Starr had threatened and put actions into motion to steal and kidnap her own children, and now, he was serving a private sentence at Origin Zero...tormented the rest of his life for the mere thought in taking a child. Especially, her children.

Tap. Tap. Clunk.

Arlyn dismissed the officers in the room, all except for Eve who had remained behind. A pair of guards stood on the opposite side of the door, along with an entire team surrounding the building... various other security inventions existed as well, to ensure the Corellian could not pull one of his elaborate escape plans.

"Do you want to tell me everything? Or shall we banter all evening before I sentence you to a cell with a criminal that will show only you his affectionate side?" she teased, waiting for Han to explain what had exactly happened.

Alexander placed the communicator on the receptionist's desk like instructed and told the woman, "This is for the Security Chief. Tell her Milo wanted her to have it."

The woman took the device into her hands, and with a dip of her head, Alexander shuffled out of the office. He wasn't entirely sure where he'd be going, but he was told to return to the surface level of the HQ and a small coffee shop around the corner would be where he'd receive some of the greatest answers.

Like, who he was. His purpose in all this Rambaldi shit, and how he could breakaway from it.

His finger tapped a button after he had entered the lift, and he zoomed downwards. His blonde hair swooshed to the side, as the doors opened to the fresh air. He walked outwards, he could see the flashing light of the coffee shop in the distance.

It had been a while since he walked a Coruscanti type of street... but he couldn't remember the memory. His mind was so flabbergasted, he hated living so... confused.

* * *

Passing around the corner, he entered the alley of the coffee shop that was more of a hub of sewage terminals and in the distance he could see a child that must of went wayward from her parents.

"Hey!" Alexander called out, "Are you lost?" His concern for the girl evaporated instantly, as two large figures emerged.

"No." the girl stated, emerging from the darkness, "But you are." her chuckle echoed, "Poor Alexander, lost his identity." She laughed again and something familiar was about this laughter.

Alexander turned on his heels and started out of the alley, but she continued, "Don't go. You're the Defender of the Galaxy. Milo Rambaldi would not be pleased!" This grabbed his attention. What was his great role?! He stopped, giving her a side glance. "Come with me." the girl stated, "For I am the Oracle."

Alexander's eyes dropped. He had seen this girl before, he had seen her tortured, he had seen people try and extract information from her in terrible ways...

Alexander buckled to his knees, was he apart of something that tortured children? His hands wrapped around his face in agony, what was he?!

"It'll be okay." the child said, the two massive creatures approaching him. He couldn't tell their race, not soon enough before he was swirling backwards. "Brutus. Bring him to the ship. We have a lot of work to do..." was the last thing he heard, before slipping into the black void.

Eve stood in the room, the Corellian seemed more nervous than he himself permitted to think. His current humanoid responses to Arlyn's questions would indicate he was either lying a great deal, or hid something very incriminating, he wouldn't dare say it directly to the Chief of Security. Especially to woman who's fiancé had been murdered by a man he recently helped escape. Han Solo was walking on very thin ice, his allies and greatest assets seemed to be at stake here...

The Human Replica Droid took a step forward, whispering something into Arlyn's ear, before departing from the room. Her skills and intelligence were not needed, and the boy, Alexander, had walked outside of the Security HQ and disappeared behind junction 32404-32.

"Miss Evelynn?" a humanoid called behind, judging by the vocal comparison, it belonged to one of Arlyn's receptionist... Cyntheia. The HRD turned and waited for the woman to speak, "The boy left this communicator. He said it belonged to the Chief?"

Eve took the device in her hands, the symbol: < o > resting on the center..."Thank you." Eve found her model saying, before departing strangely from the office. She needed time to process the device... the boy never had this on him...

Accessing the Security Grid, she sent two droids to Alexander's last location. Overriding their internal sensor grids, she watched as if they were her own eyes. Closer and closer, the droids walked, but not a sign of Alexander Risso.

He had been kidnapped.

The anger rose deep within the Corellian's chest at the security chief's taunting, but he mangaged to keep it in check. The only outward sign that he was annoyed was the slight bulging of his jaw muscles as he clenched his teeth together. It was all part of the game. Apparently the chief thought she knew where to strike back but Han wasn't about to give her the pleasure of victory. The winged-woman would have to try a lot harder than that to get him riled up. Or at least to force him to show it.

In response to her taunting, Han simply cocked an eyebrow in her direction and continued with his fractured song, giving the broken beat more intensity this time around. After several minutes of this behavior, the tall woman who was standing beside the chief stepped from the room and a hint of a smile crossed Han's features. Apparently his plan had worked on someone. Now it was just him and the chief. He could handle this now.

As abruptly as he had started the tune, it came to an end with a quick slap to the table that left a jolting aftershock reverberating throughout the office. He allowed time for the sound to cease before pushing forward toward the desk to stare down the Thangarian security chief. "I'm not really in the mood for either," Han relented, finally coming back to the question she had poised moments ago.

That much was the truth, anyway. After spending several weeks in an Imperial prison at the mercy of some jacked up intel officer, the last thing Han wanted to do was spend even more time in an Alliance jail. All he wanted to do right now was try to forget about this whole mess and spend time with Leia and the kids. But as usual, the security chief would have none of that. That's why it was up to him to bend the rules a bit.

"In fact, I'm beat," he confessed with a fake yawn. "I'm sure you have things to do and wanna get outta here, and well, I'm not exactly up to par at the moment. Why don't we just push this back to a later date? Gives me time to...think about what I did and opens an opportunity for you to actually do your real job. That sound fair?"

The annoying melody played in the back of Arlyn's mind as Han Solo poised for the question and his request. It would be easy to jail the man, sending him to the depths of this very building for years, especially during the time of war. Boba Fett was a known Imperial asset, and freeing that asset, could be considered an act of treason. Thanagarian eyes poured over the man's expression, overtaking his body, which seemed more frail than it used to be during the first Galactic Civil War...it seems the man could be softened by a family...

Chewbacca, he wasn't asking for Chewbacca.

"Purely by the fact that you are married to the Chief of State, I'm releasing you." her words played on the moment, then exaggerated the next few sentences. "Under home arrest. And you're entitled to every aspect of my inspections and monitoring." She couldn't tap Leia's house, but she could set the idea in the man's mind.

"You can leave." She pressed open the door, and watched the Corellian, before pulling a datapadd from her pocket and typed away at picking up dinner for the family.
