How do you figure those things out?
"You've got me interested. What is it you want to have transported?"
A gruff looking man stopped by their table.
"Would either of you like anything to drink?"
"I'll have a Gizer Ale, please. You?" He said to Ar'alani.

The first thing I became aware of as I woke up was the dull throbbing in my temples. I sat up on one hand and wiped the drool from the corners of my mouth and chin.

"I'm never drinking again," I said to nobody in particular, since Jess hadn't returned before Cam and I went back to our rooms. My headache increased in intensity, like somebody was hitting my skull with some sort of blunt instrument of pain. I went to the small kitchenette, pouring myself a glass of water and leaning back on the bench to drink it. My headache subsided somewhat, but the tapping increased in intensity.

It was then that I became aware of the fact that this tapping was not going on inside my skull, but in the room next door. Jess's room. I exited my room and walked the few metres down the hall to Jess' door. It was ajar and I could hear a barely audible sound that made my heart contract with anger. I crept in, calling upon my training to keep my footsteps quiet.

I leaned around the corner and looked into her room. Jess was naked on her back on the bed, with some young Corellian with more swagger than brains on top of her and the bed banging against the wall. I clenched a fist, getting ready to beat the hell out of this kid when a strong arm whipped around my head, covering my mouth; the other pinning my arms to my chest.

"Don't; she's not worth your job," Cam whispered in my ear. He dragged me out of the room, leaving the door wide open. He let go once I stopped struggling and I stepped to the door, closing it with an almighty bang. I stepped back with a self-satisfied smile before staggering off in the direction of one of the saunas, Cam following closely behind.

What a ship. What a ship. Cogent had already had several dozen passionate interludes in the past week, and was beginning to feel normal again. There's probably a PhD could be written about my libido.

Note to self: write down, put in book.

Sitting at one of the many bars in the mind-bogglingly massive ship, Cogent cast his eye around the room. Lots of women, most of them with company. There was what looked like a Chiss talking to that cargo hauler man from the Financial Holonet, which was interesting. For a given value of interesting.

And to the left... holy sh-ips of the Nespian Navy he mentally censored himself, her mere presence making him worry about courtesy without even speaking to her. It was Velora Antana. Commodore, then Admiral, then Autocrat, a hero to the men and women of Nespis for her rapid advancement up the ladder of promotion. Sexy, too. I always did like women with power. But hadn't something happened while he was on the cruise? Holonet traffic from Nespis had slowed and been replaced by government broadcasts from that Rommel guy.

He rose, and then stood up. That's good, I'll have to remember that one as well. Clasping up his pad and holding it in his left hand to subtly cover the upper area of his trousers, he said "Velora Antana?"

Well, I'm assuming that Skywalker's Funeral is already over by this point, so if I post there again, it will probably be backposting. If this turns out to be a problem later on (example is Imps go crazy and start killing ppl) I'll just have Kyle come back via a starship.

As he stepped out of the shuttle, Kyle purposely paused a moment to let others pass him, before following with his droid. Giving the guards and officials a curt nod, he showed his ID as well as the necessary tickets before boarding. Part of him was worried that they would stop his astromech droid (R6 type), but those fears proved unwarranted. His... equipment had been successfully carried onboard.

*Several Hours Later*

Kyle entered one of the numerous bars, and took a seat by the counter of the bar...

Short, but I'll write more later.

"Galaxy Blaster." Ar'alani replied. Shaken and stirred." The waiter walked off to fulfill the order, humming oddly to himself as he did.

She continued. "I want you to pick up a cache of-arms and equipment for me from Vorzyd. I'll transmit a list to you when're we've talked price." The waiter returned, handing Skyes his extremely refreshing, for an alcoholic beverage. Interesting.

She turned her attention back to Skyes.
"How much equipment are we talking about here?" he asked.

"Enough to supply a platoon of soldiers, maybe more. It never hurts to be prepared for the unknown."

Skyes tipped his glass to her.
"I'll drink to that."

Ar'alani sipped again at her drink. "So, do we have an agreement?"

"Yes. I'll contact my assistant on Denon and alert him of the delivery." He said as his sipped his Gizer Ale.
"How many metric tons of weapons are we speaking here? I'm assuming the destination will Vorzyd IV, but where will you be picking them up?" He asked, pulling out a pen and crumpled up piece of paper.

I was in the rec area for a good three hours, alternating between the sauna, spas and pool in one particular area. It never ceased to amaze me how human women seemed to congregate beside water wearing the skimpiest two-piece swimming contumes, seemingly oblivious to the fact that there was no sun; that they were putting themselves on display to the many young men sitting around the pool. Not that I minded, since I was one of those young men.

I wasn't interested in these girls, however. Experience had taught me that these idiots beside the pool wanted a man to tell them that they were pretty and jump through a dozen different hoops before they got so much as a kiss and a one night stand was about as taboo to them as an ewok to an AT-ST. I walked along a row of them, glancing to the side at one particular girl who was hotter than the sun before leaving the rec area. No point getting hung up on a pretty face; everything has to end. Personally I preferred it to finish right after the beginning; that way there was no annoying attachment to contend with.

I returned to my room at donned my black outfit; a personal favourite for when I wanted to pick up. I still hadn’t seen Jess since this morning, leaving me wondering whether or not she knew that I had caught her. The thought was more of a manifestation of my boredom rather than actual concern and I decided to rectify this by going to the dodgiest pub I could find on board.

The pub in question was opposite the club that I was at with Cam previously and was currently pretty crowed; just the way I liked it.

It had taken forty minutes for Monty to get the commlink in his room to put him through to anyone Nespis. The face that greeted him lit up as soon as he saw who was on the other end.

"Sir?!"

"Listen carefully, John we dont have much time." Monty spoke quickly, the transmission would be detected before long. "Does your Brigade still have the South-West sector of the capitol?"

"Yes," Anderson replied after a few seconds, clearly taken aback.

"Right good, I have Antana here with me, do we have you on side?" Monty said quickly.

"To the end, sir." Good, at least someone still felt some loyalty to the Field Marshal.

"Right, put a loyalist on sentry at the bridge. When we need to contact you we'll go through him. See you soon." With that he terminated the transmission.

Rommel would fall, it was only a matter of time.

"Velora Antana?"

Velora turned to face the man who had just addressed her. He was... familiar. Somehow, she had seen him before. She offered a hand, and he shook it. "Cogent Cepheid, ma'am," he said, "It's a pleasure to meet you face to face at la-"

"Cogent Cepheid?" Velora repeated, shocked. "The Cogent Cepheid? The man who designed the Victories, the Karideph?"

Cogent nodded. "Yes, and I wrote-"

"Shut up," Velora replied. Cogent closed his mouth, and then smirked. "Where's Stresemann?"

"Stresemann?"

"Stresemann!"

"Oh," Cogent said, realising, "Yeah, Stresemann. He's on this flight, for sure. The Purple Rancor Bar, probably. Black haired dude? Ex-President?"

Velora smiled enigmatically. "Not for long."

"So are you really travelling on that?" Said the pilot of the transport ship

"Apparently so" replied Prudii

"There are rumors that there are loads of government bigwigs travelling aboard, so security will probably be incredibly tight." Said the pilot

The rest of the trip was filled with the pilot attempting to small talk with him. However, Prudii was in no mood for small talk. Instead, he thought about how good it would feel to kick this pilot in the shebs

Now, as he exited the transport, he realized that the pilot had been telling the truth about tight security. As a matter of fact, it took over 2 hours for security to let him through.

"Probably because of my armor" Prudii thought.

Exiting his own quarters, Montgomery proceeded to the door of Antana's room. It was only door along so the trip was short. Pressing the door chime, he patiently waited for her to answer. Hopefully, Antana had already located Stresemann and they could begin to plan the insurrection.

Velora had been sitting at the room's desk, watching Cogent working on the computer, his excellently manicured fingers flying over the keyboard. When the door chimed, she rose from her seat and walked over to the entrance and pressed the open button, revealing Monty standing there, still in his Marshal's uniform.

"Monty," she said, "Glad you're here. I've found a man who's going to help us with some things - and I've found a President, as well." She stood to the side, gesturing for the Marshal to enter, and Monty could see Jahan Stresemann, Ex-President and Foreign Minister, lying on Antana's bed reading a book. The man looked up at the General and gave a nod of approval.

As Monty stepped inside, he skeptically regarded the figure working at the computer terminal.

"Monty." He turned back to Antana. "Glad you're here. I've found a man who's going to help us with some things - and I've found a President, as well."

Monty looked past her to see Stresemann, who looked up from the book he was reading and nodded. "Jahan, good to see you again."

He addressed the group. "I was only able to get through to one of my contacts; Rommel must have things closed up tight. I secured the allegiance of a Brigade Commander, he's in charge of the south-west sector of the capitol and his men will follow, they're fiercely loyal to him."

"Aren't you clever," Cogent interjected, turning from the computer and straightening his back. It clicked back into position and he winced. "Assuming the other four million guys you've got in the city decide they're not in the mood for killing fellow Nespians - and they're probably not, from the messages I've been intercepting - we only have a million or so battle droids of various types to worry about."

"Who are you?" Monty replied. Cogent smirked and shrugged.

"You could probably work it out from simple inference..." he began.

"All I can infer is that you're an irreverent bastard with an overinflated ego," Monty said, frowning.

"Guilty," Cogent giggled, and turned back to the screen. "I practically designed this system," he said, "I know every back door and loophole and password. Some systems Rommel doesn't even know about. I could open all the doors in the Capitol Building, disengage all the city defences, and switch off all those shiny little Terminator droids." He laughed. "I can even hack into the security cam network so I can see the old guy's face when I do it. I might make that into my desktop wallpaper, actually. Would that be ungracious of me?"

The security was immense, but they made it aboard.

Jake pressed Landon against the bed, for months he had the passion, he had the emotion, the very desire to perform what they were starting. He wanted to kiss Landon, he wanted to touch every part of him. The music's pace quickened, and so did their bodies.

Their shirts were removed in a fraction of a second as their bodies enjoying the sensuation with obvious signs...

With a knock at the door, Jake released from Landon slightly and yelled, "Occupied. Busy. Not in the mood. No service. Go away." And bent back down, the make out resuming in full force. The pounding continued as Landon groaned in both pleasure and annoyance. Jake broke away from Landon once, and yelled with more emotion, "Come back later."

The knocking ceased, his point easily made. Now for Landon's pants...

The Titan arrived at her next destination two days after leaving Denon. The vast minefields of Devaron lay ahead of her as the planetside traffic control officer gave precise instructions on navigating them. Despite the huge bulk of her hull and lack of military-grade maneuvering thrusters, the ship was still agile enough to weave through the maze unharmed and dock at the TGCL station in orbit.

Ar'alani sipped her drink and continued. "The items will be waiting in Docking Bay ninety-four in the capitol city on Vorzyd IV. A droid will be waiting with them. He will provide you with the delivery coordinates and docking instructions."

Skyes frowned slightly.
"Docking instructions?"

"You will be delivering these items to a deep-space facility, the location of which must and will remain an absolute secret. Once you have delivered the supplies, I will personally see to it that your navicomputer is wiped of all relevant data on the installation." Skyes' frown deepened slightly, but he nodded. "I understand."

Ar'alani leaned over the tabletop. "This is strictly of the holocharts, Captain. Nothing personal, but I believe you remember how Vorzyd regarded traitors. If I find that you have somehow retained a copy of the installation's coordinates, I will personally hunt you down myself and drag you back to the Cluster to face a militart trial." She reclined back in her chair, and her expression changed to mimic someone who had just seen an old friend walk up to them and say hello. "But, that's assuming that you did decide to betray us. If you are still the officer you were under Vorzyd, then you will have nothing to fear."

Petyr was impressed with the complete scope of the brilliantly constructed cruise liner. Since his ingress, he’d eaten a splendid meal, attended a comical play, and lost several thousand credits gambling in the ships Casino.

He took another sip of his coffee, freshly brewed, as he sat and thought over his next activities. The Titan had a good array of athletic amenities, and he figured he could use a swim.

A feminine loudspeaker announced the vessels latest docking. “Attention passengers, the IMS Titan has now docked at the planet Devaron. You are free to leave until the announcement is given that the ship will leave dock. You have three days. Thank you.

Petyr smiled at the mention of his planet, and resumed drinking his coffee.

After a hectic late night communicating directions to her subordinates, Jane sat at the counter, trying to get her body up and running... a hard task taking into account the little sleep she had.

Muttering under breath, she looked around and saw that the drink of the choice so far was coffee
(wonder if they actually have this in Star Wars) and ordered herself a cup too. While slowly sipping at the steaming black liquid, she took another slow survey around the room, before her eyes latched onto someone with a regal bearing, someone who looked like he had an aura of authority around himself. "What's his name again...," Jane muttered to herself, "Pete something?" After a few more seconds of contemplation, she straightened her back as she thought, "Ah - Baelish. Petyr Baelish of the Sovereignty of Devaron."

Finishing her coffee, she got up from her seat and slowly walked over, taking the place next to him. After ordering herself another cup and receiving it, she took a casual sip as she glanced over. Putting her cup down, she looked over again, and drawled out, "Mr. Baelish isn't it? Or do you prefer Emperor Baelish, especially since we are now over Devaron?"

Tis called Caf

Savannah, Jacen thought for the dozenth time since the nice looking brunette sauntered over to him and introduced herself. She had a vague air of royalty, but this didn't exclude her from the 'spoilt little princess' category. The fact that she was in this particular establishment worked in her favour though. On a ship that catered for all sorts of people, this was a less glamorous version of a Corellian Sector bar on Nar Shaddaa, quite a feat considering what Nar Shaddaa was.

Savannah returned from the 'little girl's room', her ridiculous imitation smuggler's outfit creaking as she walked. I suppressed a groan. At the moment the only thing actually working for her was the fact that she had an absolutely stunning body, though I would readily accept someone less gorgeous if they could present me with half a brain. I was sorely tempted to leave, but the thought of revenge sustained me.

"Are you ready to get out of here, stud?" she asked, placing her hand suggestively on my thigh and leaning in to kiss me on the neck. I caught the eye of another guy at the bar and rolled my eyes, miming a gun to my temple. He smirked, his expression quickly turning to a scowl when he saw Savannah's face. He put his drink down, knuckles turning to white from the pressure he was exerting on the glass.

"Question; is that your boyfriend?" I whispered in her ear, my eyes never leaving his face.
"Who?"
"The only person in the bar who wants to kill me all of a sudden."
"Oh," she said, "no I just broke up with him."
"Great," I said; just what I needed.

Captain Dipshit walked over and stood a few metres in front of me with his hands at is sides, clearly ready for a fight. I really didn't want to beat the hell out of this guy; I considered my boxing an unfair advantage in a bar fight. So my next move was a last ditch effort to avoid it. I pulled my ISB ID from my jacket.

"Imperial Security Bureau, pal. You really don't want to do this."

A whiphid security guard moved over to watch but didn't make any move, obviously waiting to see how it turned out. The man responded by spitting on the ground at my feet. I glanced at the whiphid, who stepped back and put his hands behind his back. I cursed the nature of the security guard before turning back to the man, who had taken off his jacket.

He stepped forward, leaning into a right hook like a complete amateur. I dodged easily, firing a left at his head and a right at hid midsection. The headshot scored a glancing blow with the right impacting against his stomach and causing all the air to rush out. As he pitched forward I siezed the back of his shirt and propelled him into the ground.

"Give up," I said, sick of the fight already but knowing that this man would not relent. He siezed a barstool and threw it into me, knocking me back and temporarily winding me. I recovered quickly; my training kicking in as I got angry at the cheap shot. As he swung again, I caught his fist and twisted it behind his back in a simple law enforcement move designed to trap an opponent. I didn't stop, however. Using my momentum, I swung him around, bringing his right hand up beside his left ear behind his back. The awkward angle caused his shoulder to be wrenched from its socket with a sickening pop. I shoved him forward on to the ground with my knee before walking towards the exit. I flipped a credit to the bartender, my way of apologising for the mess.

I was almost to the ring of people who were watching the fight before a glass struck me in the shoulder, breaking and driving a sliver through my jacket into the skin. I turned, picking up one of the barstools and swinging it, connecting squarely with his chin, the crunch echoing through the pub. I pulled the glass from my shoulder and walking out of the pub.

It was only when I got back to the room did my anger begin to fade, giving rise to apprehension and fear of the possible consequences. I walked into the bathroom, applying a bacta patch to the gash on my shoulder before heading back to by bed and laying down to sleep.

An obviously angry man passed her as Nora entered the bar, and as she went in, it was obvious to see why. She almost regretted having missed the fight, as she had a feeling that it might have cheered her up a bit. Looking to see to it that none of her party, save for the droid she had specifically talked to, had followed her, Nora had the droid wait right outside while she went in.

“Something relatively strong, please.”

It was a shame that such a nice trip had to be ruined, too. As she took a drink, she hoped for the third time that it would be only temporary.

Petyr nodded and smiled, sipping his drink, "Yes, Petyr will do. Unfortunately, my memory is lacking your name. What may it be, madam?"

"Then I should have no problem." He said, smiling.
"You can reach me in room number 6708. I should be there for the next few hours hopefully, for I have a bit of sleep to catch up on."
"Of Course." Ar'alani said, smiling.
Surge stood and walked out the door of the bar.

PM me for specifics, or use the Cargo thread. Also, Acer, if you wanted to talk to Surge, here's your chance.

"Jane Williams, Mr. Baelish," Jane replied after taking another casual sip of coffee. "Was this perhaps a game," she wondered, "well, if it was, two could play it."

Surge: umm... maybe later.
