Grand Moff Reyna sighed loudly as she sorted thorugh the reports laid out on her desk, sometimes her role of governing the entire oversector paled in comparison to the day to day demands of governing Chandrila - the endless debates of the Chandrilan House and their transcripts that took up whole datapads were beginning to drive her to the thinking that she should shut down the House once and for all. Sadly an impossibility, for now they had the freedom to witter on eternally about this minor point of order or that - the chair gave good airing to the Imperial-supporters in the House and with the general populous distracted she could get on with running the planet.

Unfortunatly growing concerns forced her to follow the current debate in the House. Members of the passive Chandrilan resistance to the Imperial occupation within the House were increasingly drifting towards supporting the underground resistance movement. The resistance was growing increasingly active - the number of collaborating Chandrilans that had been murdered during the occupation had grown massivly in the recent months, and even more were withdrawing their support of the Imperials. The Imperial-backed Chandrilan Overwatch had also taken several hard hits over recent months with attacks on their patrols rising and several security stations falling victim to bombings. The indirect control of the planet teetered on edge, her choice's were laid out before her quite plainly she could continue to keep the Imperial control indirect and watch the planet fall into anarchy or she could bring down her iron fist on the planet and take full control and quash the resistance.

She glanced up as her aide entered the room and smiled "Tallarn."

Tallarn bowed his greetings to Reyna and padded across the room, the former Chandrilan commander had become her effective aide-de-camp and advisor following the Empire's re-capture of the planet. He certainly looked far better in his Imperial uniform to the horrible Chandrilan one she had pulled him out of the ranks wearing - with the disbandment of Chandrilla's planetary millitary, part of a Empire-wide ban designed to force all systems to be dependent on the Imperials for defence, Tallarn and officers like him had little choice but to join the Imperial Forces or go renegade. She was glad he had chosen the former, given what help he had been.

The officer had a stack of datapads in his arms, their tabs designating the Chandrilan House transcrips from the Intelligence reports and other files. The man also held a smaller set of pads denoting themselves as oversector reports from the other planets under the Grand Moff's edict. He stacked both piles seperatly before retreating from her desk slightly and saluting, she threw her own distracted salute - barely glancing up from the datapad infront of her. Everywere was showing signs of increasing unrest, she blamed Jendob for this - if the Empire hadn't stalled yet again on the brink of launching an all-out campaign against the Rebels, then the internal dissenters would not have had the courage to renew their terrorist campaigns.

Adria sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose before pushing the datapad away from her and rising to her feet - stepping gently over her vornskr, Kahli, careful not to wake the sleeping beast - and padding over to a tank on one of her offices side tables. A partition had been placed through the seathing water of the tank, with the careful handling of a skilled zoologist Adria rolled up he sleave and plunged a hand into one side of the tank gripping the coils of the creature submerged in the water and pulling it out - a Naarl from Nasquith II, vicious eel-like creatures with spined fins - before the creature could turn on her she dropped it into a wide basin besides the tank and snatched the other Naarl from its part of the tank.

The moment both creatures were in the shallow water together they turned on eachother - agrily rending and biting eachother while the Grand Moff looked on with a dim glow of pleasure in her eyes. There was something beutiful in the most primal elements of nature that Adria felt only she seemed to truely appreciate everyone else in the animal fighting circles was there for money or prestige, they weren't as intrested in the fight as she was. The fight was over in a second, the bloody destroyed body of the looser floating limply on the surface of the bloodied basin - Adria returned the winner to the tank and picked up the dead Naarl,

"Kahli!"

The vornskr perked up at her misstresses voice and Adria threw the dead animal towards her - the canine easily caught the Naarl in its powerful jaws and swallowed the creature in one gulp before settling back down again with a murr of satisfaction. Adria smilled, such beauty in the most basic instincts of creatures.

Adria stirred from her sleep as the hammer blows of an armoured fist knocking at her door echoed through the room - Kahli was allready up and snarling angrily at the door - throwing a dressing gown over her shoulders she patted the vornskr and it slinked out of the way and back to its own bed. The Grand Moff sighed and sweapt the hair out of her eyes before pressing her thumb to the doors intercom, "Who is it?"

"General Stadasky Ma'am - we have a situation."

Adria sighed, why couldn't situations wait until the morning to break out? She punched the door lock and with a hiss it raised asside to reveal a man in crisp Imperial Army uniform, she yawned and pointed a finger at him "Shouldn't you be on a ship in orbit? If theres a situation, let the damn Overwatch handle it." she kicked on her slippers, and padded up to the man "This really has to be good for you to wake not only me but my vornskyr up for..."

Stadasky glanced over her shoulder at the dark glint of the animals eyes before returning his attention to her face, "Yes Ma'am, unfortunatly the situation has become more than the overwatch can handle - if you would follow me to the war room?" she nodded and set off infront of him, given the chance he would have probably allowed her to dress first but she wasn't about to be led around her own fortress by an Army moron. They graced the war room which was allready filled to the brim with Imperial personel. She parted her own route to the holomap - a city burnt before her eyes, Windscale, on the opposit side of the planet to Hana and probably the planets second city.

"When someone gets the guts will they explain to me how the situation got this bad before someone decided to summon me?"

A thin shrew-like man managed to raise a hand "We uhh, didn't think it pertinent to call you when it first started - we thought the Overwatch could handle it at first but then it got worse when we sent in extra Overwatch teams from other districts..."

Adria halted him mid-report "Are you with the Chandrillan planetary authorities?"

The shrew-man nodded "Yes ma'am, liason for security."

"Right then get out," the man hesitated but when he saw the dangerous glimmer in the Imperials eyes he backed out of the room, Adria scowled around the room "That goes for all Chandrillan liasons, this is now an Imperial war room." she sighed and beckoned Stadasky over, "It appears General that the Chandrillans are no longer capable of handling their own security - deploy your troops from orbit - recapture Windscale at all costs and supress the resistance." the man nodded and headed to his command station.

"Ma'am what about the House?" Adria glanced at one of her beurocratic aides "The House will no doubt be calling an emergency meeting - and in a direct breach of protocol I will be attending the meeting - with an armed guard."
