A question came up recently which leads me to ask this... do faction account for payroll in their expenses? Please, answer honestly. Also, while I won't tell anyone how to run their faction, I have to say (and I'm not alone in this) that multi-million credit paychecks every week are a bit silly. :p

Any faction that pays in the billions probably has a miniscule military... and is ripe for attack. :p

Also, Faction Leaders, PLEASE post what you voted.

Though I may not have any employees, and I'm not part of any faction (I like the term government so much better), I voted 'yes' in this poll for the simple fact that I deduct money from my income each week to account for a set number of fictional, NPC security employees, and If I had any real employees, I'd be taking their pay out of my income each week.

Ah. That's dedication. :p

Although, you just pay maintenance on them, which covers pay, feeding, etc. :p

I voted no, but that's only because Ross forgets to add the cash to his account anyway :P

Hey, that doesn't mean you should take away my weekly multi-million paycheck. :P

After all this I probably should have about a half billion by now. :P

I'm too lazy to change to Nicole but anyway.
I don't pay salary per se. I run a communist style arrangement, where the government buys everything and pays all maintainance.

No income tax if you just take it straight from the faction funds.

There is something wrong with multi-million credit salaries if you're paying them to every tom, dick, and jane that happens to be played by a real person, regardless of their job.

I'm not; there is a pay scale ... those people are just high ranking members of the Oligarchy.

I pay the members that are active that week their multi-million dollar salary... lmao. (except for my own accounts)

Seriously though... ship upkeep is killing me. I make most of my money off arms sales, with an uber-small planet income.

Don't you have 64 planets that are providing you with income? (Hapes Consortium + Tannab?)

They don't, for the same reason the Empire doesn't have 51 million planets :P
