Alright guys, call me crazy, but I have an idea for another SWVIII.Net RPG. (Don't lynch me for it not being SW :P ) It could be an alternate Halo universe, to where the Elites didn't Rebel but for a few. A very few. Making the chances for humanity grim, and the Coveant on the way to 'enlightenment' (Instant disinigration of the galaxy. :P) Anyhow, would anyone support this? I am totally nuts? Will the CMAC kill me? I just want to know.

Not to sound insulting, but the SW in the SWRPGS.net stands for Star Wars, so it's theme-exclusive.

Then again, I don't own it. Talk to Cray.

True. I just though I'd put this out here for others to think about. :)

I don't think there are enough Halo fans here, or even know what Halo is to really have a full fledged RPG on it.:P

It wouldn't be all that fun really, the Covenant (canonically) would hunt humanity until they were completely wiped out...and the fact of the Covenant's unmatched space superiority coupled with their extensive ground forces would make it a short game.

If it were set up like this game (focused on character development), it might make for a more interesting one. Though I still don't know how that would work.

EDIT: Aside from that, Cray hates Halo so don't count on it being made into reality. :P

Another Idea would be around Halo Wars plotline (Use Google and watch the trailer, read the stuff :P ) where stuff was more ballanced, the war wasn't seeming so hopeless, ext., ext. I actually think it would be a good RPG basis (Definetly set up like this) and prehaps the UNSC (99% of humanity) could be fractured, and/or the Covies 'n humans on a slight, uneasy cease fire. I think it would be great for character devolpment, actually. Everybody's factions and views wouldn't be black and white. :P

Stuff was *never* balanced in the Human-Covenant war. The first encounter with the Covenant saw an entire planet glassed and two human frigates obliterated along with a destroyer crippled.

All of that from one Covenant Frigate.

About black and white...the Covenant only see one thing when they see humans. They see an affront to their gods. Their first message to humanity was "Your destruction is the will of the gods...and we are their instrument."

Now if it were AU...then things could be different. But if it was canon to Halo's storyline, humans would be fighting a losing battle all the time.

For the moment, I can pretty much confirm that there won't be any non-SW RPGs, but in the future if we grow and if there's enough support, I wouldn't be adverse to hosting a few non-SW RPGs, but possibly under a different domain name.

Halo sucks. :p

Anyways if this ever started I'd be interested...I'll want to play as a Sangheili, haven't played as one of those in a long time. :(

My image is the truth, Gordon couldn't take the Chief on...especially with a Warthog.

Battle hardened veteran super soldier > regular guy with a power suit :P

And heroes are always overrated, be they smugglers, spies, crack-shot Ph.D's with no formal weapons training, or enhanced humans in power armor. :p
