The sky was painted with clouds, their typical fluffy abundance was replaced by dark, raging thunderclouds as Sark's shuttle slipped through the planetary security systems. The Librianna had been assigned to Coronus as the system's flagship, and with it, came every code and pathway required to protect the city.

It was a fatal mistake to be sure, Sark's eyes overlooking the island that held Eve's entire existence. His hand shook slightly, carrying the remote that would end her.

She predicted him, all too well, and in the end, he would prove that he was the greatest droid of them all.

But was it the right move to make? She had been like a mother, or a sister to him. She had guided him, she had protected him in ways that no other creature, or computer had ever done. But he wasn't programmed to feel that, to sense and base his feelings off those emotions.

His finger hovered over the red button.

He recalled their first meeting, and replayed it slowly, then again, several times. His thumb lowered, touching the device, as he watched Eve hold Arlyn's triplets for the first time. She wasn't programmed to feel compassion, to feel the embrace, but she was their caretaker, she was meant to be their teacher, their resource through the lives they would lead.

In the shuttle, peacefully crossing into the thunderstorm stricken sky, he wouldn't hear the explosions, the computer mainframe crashing with the virus... He wouldn't hear Eve's Human Replica Droid scream into agony, he wouldn't be able to see the pain, the artificial devastation that had been brought.

He wouldn't be there to see the children collapse over the blonde woman's body, or to help Ryan carry the woman into the assessment room. He simply wasn't able to sense, or to feel, the damage he had caused. He had broken something so complicated, so intricate to their lives, it would be hard to move forward, and carry on without her.

Sark wasn't aware that he ended everything that had been created.
