Three hours after the meeting, Alex found himself packing his things, and heading for a shuttle that would be leaving in less than a minute. Carnor didn't say why Alex had to leave before the ceremony, but just that he had to.

Making sure his vibro-sword was tightly secured to his back, Alex walked to the shuttle, found an unoccupied seat, sat down, and said, "Pilot, take off."

"Yes sir," came the man's response, as the shuttle took off from the landing pad.

The current stretched, and flexed to his will, but as much as he tried, he still couldn't do it. He was begining to grow impatient, but took a deep breath, and calmed himself. His anger was all well, and good, but he needed to concentrate. Bringing the Force into his grasp again, he visualized pushing it through his hand, and was rewarded with a small, blue arc of electricity that pulsed through his finger tips.

Avaritus kept at it, for more than two hours, visualizing the power flowing through his fingertips, and his hand. Even after the training, he was only able to produce a small spark of force-lightning. He would keep at it though. The power was a very valuable one to have, if he could control it properly. Absent-mindedly, he wondered when his apprentice would seek him out. Avaritus understood the need for rest, but he would get the man himself if he had to. Training to become both a Sith, and a Soverign Protector took practice, concentration, and sheer will power. Avaritus had the means to do so, and so did his apprentice. The man might just need a shove in the right direction.

Salo finally felt as if he had enough time to recover. He'd have to get used to his new Sith name now, but before then, it was time to train. He would become more powerful. Then the next time he was to fight Avaritus, Salo would be the stronger one.

The new Sith Apprentice walked into the barracks where his new Master stood awaiting him. "I'm ready to train," Salo said.

Avaritus could feel his apprentice's anger, his hatred, and could sense his thoughts. The man thought he would be able to best him soon. He was mistaken. Salo would be able to beat Avaritus eventually, but that was a long way off.

Grabbing his lightsaber, he looked to Salo, and said, "Follow me, apprentice. We're headed to the barrens."

Several hours of physical training, Salo was working hard to train his body. He needed to train with the force as well, but he felt that he needed to be stronger physically first. Faster, more agile. It would definitely help with his fighting skill, he preferred winning a fight with his lightsaber rather than the force. But eventually he could learn how to control the force so well that he wouldn't need a lightsaber to finish off a few weak enemies.

Salo finished up with push-ups and decided to take a short rest. He sat on the floor spread out as much as possible, he was already sweaty enough, it would have just made it worse had he sat in a more scrunched up position. He grabbed a bottle of water and took a drink, then got up to his feet. There were several objects in the room, and Salo felt like seeing how many he could lift from the ground at the same time.

He stood perfectly upright, his hands at his sides, and he closed his eyes. He concentrated hard, feeling the force run through him. The objects around him started to quiver. Salo felt everything through the force, the smaller objects lifted from the ground easily, such as his disguarded cloak and the water bottle. With more concentration, Salo managed to lift a few of the benches from the ground and keep them aloft. He continued to work at it, gathering several more of them up from the ground.

But then something broke his concentration. A huge surge in the force.

Everything that floated around in the air suddenly dropped. Salo fell along with them. He was left on his knees with his head down. Such a burst of the force like that could mean only one thing: death. And it was obvious who it was, Master Yoogle had been killed. Salo felt a sense of regret, along with a strange sense of anger. The regret was understandable, even though Salo was a Sith now, he still had the feeling that he had been wrong to choose his path. However, he felt angry that he couldn't have been the one to take part in Yoogle's death.

Salo had just recently turned to the Dark side, yet he was already feeling like he should've been the one to take his old Master's life. Revenge for corruption. It seemed Avaritus's influence reached even deeper than Salo originally thought. But how deep did it really go?

As Avaritus sat in his quarters, he looked intently at his hand. He pulled on the full power of the force, yet again, and smiled, as it was easy to conjure the lightning in his palm. The power flowed through his palm, and fingertips, illuminating the entire room to near uncomfrotable levels. He had been unable to send the lightning from his fingertips for a week, so he stopped trying it. Instead, he developed his own way of gathering, and releasing it, although he couldn't release it in here, or Jax would probably quite litterally have his head.

He had felt Yoogle's death in the force a while ago. One that powerful did not leave the plain of the living without anyone with latent force ability knowing it. Smileing to himself, he checked Yoogle off of his mental list of people he would have to eleminate in order to gain more power.

Letting the power in his palm slowly die out, he moved off of his bed, and onto the cold floor, sitting cross legged. So far his attempts to find his quary had gone unsuccessful, but he would keep trying. Avaritus had a few skills that others with the Force didn't possess. Finding someone he wanted across galactic distances was one of them. It just took him a while to center on their mind.

After an hours' time, and what seemed like a day, Avaritus found the mind he was looking for. A mind filled with a malice, and murderous intent not all that different from his own. A mind that enjoyed death. Reveled in it. Avaritus focused on the mind for a while longer, mentally imprinting it's feel, so he could find it again.

It was not long until he attacked, and when he did, Denora wouldn't be ready for it. Standing up, he straightened his clothes, and left his quarters. He wanted to spar with a few people before he left. He would also inform his apprentice soon. He wondered if Salo was ready for the battle that awaited him.

After getting over the death of Yoogle, Salo was quickly back at training. Yoogle's death hit him hard, but he didn't care now. There were more important matters to worry about, and there was no sense in regretting someone's demise.

Now that Salo had trained his body and mind, it was time to train his fighting. Instead of a lightsaber though, he used a vibro sword. He might as well get used to fighting with one now, it wasn't much different from a lightsaber. He had no one to practice against, so instead he worked on his movements by himself. Eventually, he felt like trying something new. There was another vibro sword leaning against the wall, Salo flicked his wrist and the sword flew through the air fluently and into his hand other hand. Now he practiced fighting with two blades.

At first he went slow, this fighting style was new to him, but it he thought it might come in handy. As the time passed, Salo continued to hasten his speed. And soon he was able to move and slash without difficulty. He was able to quickly learn how to fight with two blades. But now he wanted another lightsaber, for dual lightsaber combat. Not that he would always use two lightsabers for fighting, he was still more used to only one. But it'd be nice to have another lightsaber for him to use whenever he pleased.

He put the vibro blades away and washed up. Once he felt refreshed, he put on his Jedi robes and cloak. Then he left his room in search for some items in order to make a new lightsaber. Which didn't take too long, he already had a few neccesary items, such as a focusing lens. He found other materials after a while of searching, he wasn't sure if he actually stole any of the items, for he was trying to get them without anyone knowing. However, he didn't care. Once he had all the necessary materials, he went back to his room and worked on putting together his new lightsaber.

Once he was done with the construction, he recieved a red crystal from his dresser. One that he's had for a long time, he found it when he was a young Jedi. And now he finally had a use for it. He fitted it into the lightsaber hilt, then switched it on. The scarlet blade erupted from the hilt as the buzz pierced the air around Salo.

As Avaritus walked through the various halls of the Yinchorr Training Complex, he searched for his apprentice's mind. After a few seconds, he found him. Taking the next right, he walked towards the room where he felt Eximius, and opened the door.

"Eximius. Pack your things, we're leaving," said Avaritus, glancing at the new lightsaber his apprentice held. It seemed the man was taking to his new title quite nicely. "We have Jedi to kill. Meet me in the hangar when you're ready."

Eximius began to say something, but Avaritus ignored him, and left the room, towards the hangar. He had things to prepare, and very little time to do such.
