The vehicles raced through the skies of Kashyyyk and overtop the thicket of wroshyr trees. Eve remained completely intact, her only damages were to the physical embodiment of the Human Replica Model, and even then, they could be repaired. Her supercomputer intellect calculated millions of options, raced against the time of the travel, as she developed possible outcomes and scenarios of victory. The Trandoshan numbers were powerful and many, and because of the fearless Unknowns and additional Recon Teams, the Rebellion had learned traitors had assisted their emergence.

Sentients exhibited many flawed attributes, the moral of selling one's own race to genocide was interesting. Eve wanted the emotions explained; the rage, the hatred and revenge. Three of the most deadly of sentient experiences... Intelligence reports matched the leading wookiee traitor as Rrrworl, a creature that had used it's claws in battle to save it's cubs. And since that point, the adult wookiee was accused of a Mad Claw, and ordered never to return. The HRD pondered these emotions, unable to experience the full extent and actually feel them. She could simulate anger, remorse or revenge, but she could never feel them.

Another emotion that was lost to her programming was love. She may value Ryan's companionship, but it was impossible for her to feel for him as Arlyn did. As the two held each other in their arms, the battle affecting their desire to continue, and their longing to evade further conflict, Eve stared at the thanagarian and realized that she was the fragile one. Her memory or soul, would never resurface. Never again would she think, if her body collapsed.

Understanding the value of life was complicated and even the most powerful artificial technology could not explain the true meaning of it.

* * *

Click, Click, Click.

The turrents had rearmed and three additional rockets fired into the fray of the invading forces. With anti-vehicle/starfighter blazing the skies, the Droid Atmospheric Transport dived towards a landing pad. The group exited the transport, Eve could sense a wave of emotions overcoming her. Humans exhibited excitement, remorse, fear, adrenaline, blankness, and dozens of other emotions on the battlefield... with the battle rushed wookiees on the field; fighting for their lives, family, homes and even the world itself.

Emotions. Eve processed. It weakened some, and gave strength to others...

Eve moved on the battle field, her supercomputer processor already watching the battle computers and sensory networks. She advised to Ryan that the third checkpoint would be advisable, as it allowed time for them to recover and prepare for the oncoming forces. Major artillery would have been eliminated by then, and a higher chance of survival existed.

"No." the Security Chief stated, her mind was set. "I came to defend the wookiees and their lifestyle, and that's exactly what I plan to do."

Eve nodded her voice emerging over the distant blaster fire, "Lock and Load."

Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad walked peacefully towards the front lines of the battlefield. It had been a long fifteen years since she had joined the Rebellion and the memories of each of them echoed as she stepped towards the blaster fire. She remembered the first target practice she had, the words of her instructors, the first intelligence mission she had served and the very first Imperial she had killed. She remembered the anger, the hatred, and the remorse that she had experienced in the DRWP and Lambda. The people that had come into her life as a result of death, destruction and plotting.

She remembered the fateful day she spoke to the Geonosians, rallying them for support and unifying their cause. She remembered the day Ryan sought reprogramming to release himself from the binds of artificial limits.

She recalled the day she thought Ryan Davad was murdered, fallen to the hands of the terrorists, then his surprise at the Galaxy Ball... he had sung to her on the stage.

She remembered their wedding. The donor for their children. The birth of their children.

Her eyes watered as she took each step. Lucas, Damian and Isabel came to mind. "Eve." she said softly. "What are they doing?"

Eve seemed to know exactly what Arlyn was speaking of, "Your mother is holding Isabel, singing The Princess of the Waters. While your father is tossing a ball to the boys." A tear fell from Arlyn's eyes, as the battle grew louder...

Ryan squeezed Arlyn's shoulder, "We'll be with them again. Two days, tops." He reassured her.

And before he could continue, Arlyn had removed the blasters from her holsters and killed two Trandoshans, Eve had fired a few rounds and was moving towards her own cover as Arlyn took to the skies.

By programmed instinct, Ryan was already on the move as well.

Blood stained the forests of Kashyyyk as Eve walked the battlefield. Her sensory programs detecting and analyzing each threat and approaching object, her supercomputer relay processing various tons of information.

A Trandoshan emerged, its signal was masked by a strange metallic shielding grid, and a blaster rose to meet Eve's eyes. He was exactly four point two meters away, still avid time to raise her blaster.

It was in this moment it happened, perhaps a glitch in her programming, or an artificial accident.

A child emerged from the battlefield, the sounds of blasters and death cries fading into the distance, the child's humming replacing it all. Immediately, Eve recognized the girl.

"The Oracle." Eve whispered, her computer processing diverted from some of the other protocols to watch solely in this moment... to capture each sensory detail.

The child smiled, her eyes wide and full of the humanoid color spectrum blue. The child extended it's hand, a single finger beckoned Eve to come towards her. The Human Replica Droid walked, the melody's volume increasing with each step.

"You are the First." the Oracle mentioned, "My father has chosen you.

Eve broke momentarily from the vision, the supercomputer had detected an intrusion into her mainframe... but the vision returned.

"Milo Rambaldi called himself the Father of Droids." the Oracle's voice was low and soft, "He has chosen you to play a part in things to come." Eve listened, her mind still attempting to isolate the intrusion. The Oracle giggled, "I'm at Origin Zero. I'm standing next to your supercomputer." Eve failed to realize how this was possible. Everything was under her guard. The Oracle switched topics, "You will find the Defender. And you must watch him. Care for him, for he is the Defender of Galaxies."

Eve broke her silence, "How will I know Defender?"

"A crippled Priest," the Oracle spoke more quickly, "will die in your arms. He will tell you one of Rambaldi's greatest secrets." The Oracle smiled, her gentle face bringing a sense of comfort to the HRD model, "When I break the connection, a Trandoshan warrior will fire his weapon. Do not move."

And before Eve could question, their network was broken. The trandoshan's blaster erupted and Eve watched in sheer slices of time as the blaster bolt sailed towards her. As in slow motion, it crawled towards her humanoid presence. She could've dodge this blast, but she obeyed the child.

And in a fraction of a second, it happened...

Read the LOA thread, but I ask this OOC message be kept here.

Please do not interact with ANY of my characters. Don't feel gridlocked here, you already know the outcome: We kick ass, and enter peace talks with the Trandoshans. : ) So, if you need to be elsewhere, feel free to leave.

I thank Jase and DJ especially. : )

The crimson blaster shot soared towards the Human Replica Droid, her blonde hair motionless as her oceanic orbs watched the incoming energy surge. Oblivion waited this body, her conciousness ready to return to the Supercomputer, however, things did not come out as they had calculated to be. A battle enraged wookiee howled, it's massive body flinging in front of Eve and the bodyarmor took the shot. It's bowcaster flicked two bolts, the enemy Trandoshan snarled before it attempted to dodge the blasts. The reptile evaded the first, but the second shot that had echoed from the bowcaster ripped into it's neck and silenced the creature.

It was odd the Oracle had told her to remain still, and rather mysterious that the child knew a wookiee would save her HRD's existence.

Knowing she could no longer remain yielded to the Trandoshan's shots, she dropped her blaster pistols and picked up a fallen wookiee's bowcaster. The wookiee, who Eve immediately identified as the teenager she had pulled from the beaches, roared triumphantly into the air. It's soul sparked with fire as it tore into the open forest and towards an advancing Trandoshan army. There would be little chance the wookiee would make it out of the jungle alive, unless Eve assisted him. Dropping the bowcaster, Eve tossed a Trandoshan aside and wielded his sniper rifle. Twenty Seven Rounds.

Her hands shifted the weapon, a perfect balance as her eyes took aim. With a movement of her finger, a Trandoshan in the distance dropped with his left eye blasted. Eve put the wookiee teen in her target, then scanned outwards to see him sparring with two reptiles, with an additional three attempting to come behind. She took the leader of the surprise, his chin exploding into his skull.

Eve dropped to her knees, her supercomputer ordering three droidekas to her position in synch with the Droid Control Ship in orbit; which had engaged fleeing enemy fighters.

Knowing it would be a minute before the assistance arrived, Eve fired three more shots into the fray. A Trandoshan yelped, but his determination kept his blaster active. Eve fired a second shot, this time, it took the essence of the fight from him; his heart exploded with a pinpricked shot.

Droidekas rolled onto the battlefield, reptiles hissed and attempted to shoot the incoming assistance and as they did so, they noticed an open human female: Eve. To their mistake, they began to adjust to eliminate her from the battle; once and for all.

The droidekas deployed, their shields activating and blaster fire erupted into green flesh. Ionic blasts soared past Eve and impacted into their shield grids; a close call for the blonde, but they knew nothing of her intricate programming. The teenage wookiee emerged, his bowcaster over his head as he roared in glory. Eve smirked... her internal sensors catching this moment.

Nodding in his general direction, Eve and two of the Destroyer based designed droids made their towards Ryan Davad.

Her wings had never felt so alive more than this day. It had been a long time, since they saw the flight of the battle.

Beating and rotating into midair, she flew. Amazing blaster shots towards the enemy before, or below, her. She gracefully flew with the current, her muscles pounding with each beat, her fingers clicking the trigger as green soldiers appeared below.

A special squad of Zerconian Geonosians had landed with the droid force hours before, and together they had formed up with her attack pattern, the group flying in and out of the chaotic battle...carefully avoiding the hailfire of blaster shots.

Ground and air merged into one, with every muscle in their bodies working in unison powered by survival. The Lady of Geonosis would never fall in their midst.

Rebellion soldiers stood their ground, the relentless green army moving deeper and deeper into the capital of Kashyyyk, but with each victory, their forces took a terrible loss of numbers. And something else was emerging on the Trandoshans' side: Wookiees. Traitors, now risked the highest of treasons, fought side by side with the genocide craved invaders.

The thanagarian security chief paused, her husband waving her towards his position. Her wings adjusted, avoiding two blaster shots, and she dived; only to pull up seconds before crashing into the sand below.

"The Oracle is alive and en route to Security Headquarters." he was quick and to the point. Arlyn's mind raced, the last she had seen the Oracle... Sark had kidnapped her. Taken her to a probable lab, where the Hand would attempt to dissect or use her for their perverted purpose.

The brunette whispered to her husband, her voice not yielding to temptation, "Now? We can't."

Eve was nearby, more interested in the conversation than the previous engagements. And her addition to the conversation answered Arlyn's observations, "She located Origin Zero, and hacked my Supercomputer." Arlyn knew that was nearly impossible with any advanced technology, even the greatest computers wouldn't be able to compromise Eve's security procedures.

The confused Thanagarian waited for her to finish, "The Oracle also sent me a programmed vision." Eve paused as she fired a few shots into a nearby tree. "The Defender of Galaxies. I must find him, and place him under your protection."

Arlyn's eyes beamed. Of course. The Priest of Saint Caprica had used a device Murlin had given her from the world of Chalacta to contact her. He had arranged for a meeting; posing to hold a great piece of the device. And the Defender was no piece, but a vital role in it's activation. With a single flow of words, the thanagarian answered Eve, "You must go to Obroa-skai."

Yoogle jumped, landing next to Jase Denora. "Come with me, you and your team will. Together, bring this invasion to a close, we must." Jase turned his head to look at the diminutive, green nuisance. Grey eyes viewed the Jedi with contempt. " My team has business to attend to, as do I. With that, Jase turned his back to Yoogle and left the now too quiet village. Lifting his arm to his mouth, he tapped in a sequence on his wrist comm. " Herdez, regroup with the Alliance fleet, pick up Erics' Memoriam and rendezvous with me at the capital. Unknowns, allocate a vehicle and meet us in two hours. Tam, follow me to the capital, we have much death to deal."

The indigo blade sang quietly as it swung through the air, removing the head of one Trandoshan. A black clad arm brought a heavy blaster pistol's barrel to the chin of another. The crimson bolt erupted through the back of the lizard's skull, sending bits of bone, flesh and brain flying through the air. Jase's eyes swept the battlefield as he danced with death, blade and blaster moving in tune as they defended their master and stole the lives of his enemies. Eve had a near miss, he expected better from a 'droid. The bird was flying, as to be expected, it fit her attitude.

Three Trandoshan's closed in on Jase, all carrying slaver blades. Jase raised an eyebrow, holstering his blaster and beckoning them closer. " Come along, then, they say you can't lose when you carry those." They all lunged for him at once, likely supposing he could not withstand the combined effort. Jase merely crouched low, letting the momentum of the clumsiest carry it forward over him as he thrust his blade upwards, disemboweling the creature. The other two had wisely stopped, trying to attack him in his crounch.

Yet, even has he carved the first, his free hand called upon the Force, yanking the blade from another's grip. It roared in fury as the blade flew out of it's hands and Jase sent it back with a push of the Force, the weapon embedding itself hilt deep in it's chest. AS this happened, Jase brought a second lightsaber to bear, the yellow blade he had constructed himself. With a flick of the wrist, he removed the weapon hand of the third lizard. It roared in pain, trying to run.

Jase had never known a Trandoshan to run. " Coward, meet your end...", with these words, he reached out again with the Force, sending the spilled intestines of the first flying at the running lizard. The entrails wrapped themselves around it's neck and Jase deactivated the yellow saber, attaching it to his belt. Grabbing the intestines, he yanked hard, leaving the Trandoshan gasping for air as it desperately clawed at the organs wrapped around it's throat. Jase removed the lizards legs with a quick swipe of his saber, watching the beast fall to the ground.

Calling upon the Force once more, he used it to shove the intestines into the fallen lizard's mouth, smiling cruelly as he watched it gag. " Choke on them," he said softly, turning away as it died slowly on it's comrades entrails. A transport crashed into the clearing, opening fire on Trandoshans and Jase knew the Unknowns had arrived. As a light tank aimed it's cannon at the vehicle, a new entry made it's presence known.

A black clad YT-2400 roared in from the sky, a compartment opening to reveal a hidden quadlaser, which tore into the tank before it could hit the transport. Herdez had come with the Erics' Memoriam. The freighter banked into a hover and and the rea hatch opened, a length of black rope descending from it. Jase grabbed it as the rest of the Unknowns came to join him. Speaking into his comm, Jase sneered at the carnage he had caused, licking Trandoshan blood from his lips. " Battle's over, Tam, come join us. The regular army can clean up the mess, we're heading out."

Yoogle watched the events unfold. Some of them were more predictable, without the use of the Force, and others were rather interesting. He didn't waiste a second to convince Jase Denora to join him on the next leg of the attack, but perhaps the man lacked the ability to understand why Yoogle asked him to join them. Either way, the Jedi team would lead the assault on the leadership and command center of the enemy forces.

Their forces were dwindling, with piles of dead on both sides, yet the Rebellion held its ground. To prevent future insurrection, Yoogle jumped from the position and landed near the collected Jedi and with one fluid motion of his fingers, he pointed to the direction.

"Where's Denora?" Wilton asked, her breathing was sharp.

"Coming, he is not." Yoogle answered and he could feel the loss of hope. They needed him for the attack ahead, and without his skills, Jedi would likely die. Yoogle sent a wave of comfort; their duty was to bring the leadership to an end. Pointing towards the Command Center, they moved out.

Force jumps, leaps and agility shot in all different directions as the Jedi moved towards their target. Killing a Trandoshan here and there, with evading a group or two... they moved in careful silence towards the command center.

And the most unique and possible wonderful event took place.

An individual in a straw hat rested before Yoogle and his Jedi team, who masked by the darkness, and a cloak of individual stealth. The Straw Hat figured appeared to be chained, a recent capture for the Trandoshan Army, and the leadership of Trano and Wookiee Traitors bickered at what to do with the man.

It was a Whiphid.

And immediately, Yoogle's mind raced at the days of the Great Jedi Purge. His memory scanned the death list he had created, and this man's was not on it. He was missing.

"In our favor, the numbers are." Yoogle whispered to his team. Karis eyed the Jedi Master, mystified by his knowledge of the situation. It was not the Force that told Yoogle of the events that would shortly take place, but sharp observation. The Trandoshans felt betrayed by the wookiee traitors, or severely disappointed. And in return, the wookiee traitors could sense the betrayal coming.

The Straw hat man whistled, its melody carrying throughout the trees and he spoke without emotion, "I've died many times before." The whiphid laughed, yet it carried not humor or taunt, but emotionless laughter. Yoogle knew the Jedi Order Master whiphid could sense the internal destruction brewing, and with simple words of confidence, the frail string of alliances snapped violently.

The leading madclaw's hand extended, in a sheer flash of time, and literally snatched the face of the leading trandoshan. Blood squealed from the creature's face, as the wookiee's claws dripped in cold blood. The wookiees had stricken first, and before Yoogle could send an instruction to his team, a blade erupted in the distance. It wasn't a Jedi from Yoogle's team and if the Jedi Master was still bound by the chains, who was this individual?

With force sensitives in the mix, Yoogle held his command. He needed time to assess whether they would protect the Rebellion, or secretly destroy it. Calling all of his energy, he melded with the Force, attempting to discern their allegiances. But it wasn't long until Yoogle found his answer.

Wookiees struggled with the numbers of the Trandoshan force, but their own ferociousness and surprising tactics brought the forces to a bloodbath. Trando soldiers attempted to secure the profound prisoner, obviously the group had observed some kind of Force technique... yet they had made a critical mistake. A lightsaber ignited, freeing the Jedi Master from it's chains and to the battlefield ahead.

Yoogle gave the signal and additional lightsabers ignited. Force leaping into the fray, Yoogle landed next to his old comrade. "K'Kruhk." Yoogle stated, "Master, good to see you, it is." The older man looked confuzzled, his eyes protruding an interesting boil of emotions, but Yoogle cut off a return greeting, "Karis, assist the padawan boy, you must!"

Karis followed the orders instantly, her body running through the firefight and towards the aide of the padawan in the distance. The wookiee leader stared at the whiphid and tridactyl species companion and snarled. The creature roared into the night, the bloodshed he had costed the world, and reign of Kashyyyk terror would be brought to an end. Yoogle and K'Kruhk moved as one, the days of the Old Jedi Order and various Clone Wars battles they had shared, came back to them. Yoogle had disarmed the guards, while preventing the wookiee to escape.

K'Kruhk, however, disarmed the leader himself and spoke in the mystique, he typically had before, "What's a madclaw to attempt to rule a planet it was outcaste by?" The wookiee snarled, anger clutching the vocal chords rather violently, "You should abandon your error, abandon the treason you've committed here today. Return with honor, not an invasion force."

The wookiee howled, the frail personality unable to heed to the powerful words of the Jedi Master. But with a swift swipe of his lightsaber, the wookiee fell.

And with the Madclaw's death, so died the insurrection.

Yoogle and K'Kruhk acknowledged each other, and questions and bonding brewed between the Clone Wars veterans. "Denon, welcome to join us, you are."

K'Kruhk looked upwards, the straw hat tipped slightly to the left, and he spoke, "I'd very much enjoy being around my kind, once again. Is this all we have?"

Yoogle shook his head, "Master Ikrit has survived as well, and is instructing younglings at the Temple."

K'Kruhk, "Come, Master Yoogle. I believe we have much to talk about." His padawan had joined the whiphid's side, and in together, the Force Sensitive group left the ruins of the invading command.

Jedi Master K'Kruhk of the Jedi Order of the Old Republic, has joined the Jedi Order of the Rebellion; Ranked as Master. : )

The thanagarian soared over the Kashyyk plains, weaving in and out of the woshyr trees. The battle below had taken a surprising turn: the enemy broke into a strange internal conflict, before roaring into an everyone man for itself retreat.

Knowing the navy would easily capture any fleeing vessel, the Rebellion cheered.

The Battle of Kashyyyk is over. The Trandoshand Homeworld located in the same sector, represented by the Galactic Senate of the Rebellion, received an increased number of Rebellion Soldiers. Diplomatic talks are underway, but many factors are still under investigation.
