To each their own.

We've had more compliments than complaints concerning the title of SWVIII.

Since this is for discussing this RPG I'd like to let you all in on a little secret:

I am no longer legally bound to demilitarization. The minute the Empire nulled the treaty with the Alliance, the Treaty of Corellia II ended, and thus, my military is going to be legally restored.

Yey for VvD Military.

Last time the Hive-III wasn't in production and the Empire and Alliance weren't at war.

Yeah, and last time the Empire and the Alliance didn't have a years worth of income to play around with... that kind of money could buy a very large beatstick, or several coordinated smaller beatsticks.

On a related note, did you know that toasted cockroaches taste like popcorn? Could be interesting to test the theory :P

Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the Corporate Wars pregame show. I'm your host Crow T. Robot, and my co-host, Tom Servo, may be around shortly. But lets take a look at the teams.

Now, for those of you that don't know, this whole thing started when Noruas the Crazy somehow got his Taggeco lawyers to declare war on those Jedi businessmen at the Pheonix Corperation. I'm guessing he promised them money, because all lawyers just love that stuff.

Well, the hypnotisingly-scented Killiks sent one of their fleets to Yavin IV, and Pheonix countered by sending their own war machines. And with that, it looks like the games are about to begin. But what's this? I'm just getting a report that Noruas has actually bailed out of the battle! Guess he thought his goose was about to be put in the oven, if you know what I mean.

This should prove to be a very interesting game in deed.

Wayland? Wayland!? What in the world could Bugboy be thinking?

It appears as if the Killik have taken a dislike to the corporation known as Phoenix that rivals even the old wars, Crow. In the red corner, weighing a combined total of not nearly enough, the Board of Directors of Phoenix Corp. These men have stood up to not only the Killik but also the Empire in their bid for more money - will it get their asses kicked today? Can they rise from the ashes like their namesake? We'll find out soon enough.

And, in the... well, I guess we'd have to call that puce corner, we've got the Praetor of Praying Mantises, the Commander of Cockroaches, the Esteemed Emperor of Effluvia, Noruas. Born at night, but not last night, he and his buggy bretheren seek to declare war on a corporation, a bold move and completely unorthodox.

It appears as if the Regal Ruler of Roaches has made the first swing - time to see what the company does in response.
