As Ryoko was helped out of the tank she felt better, stronger, more alive...and most of all, she felt like she had been given a second chance at life. Though she had to hide most of it, she wasn't sure how her comrades would take the news of her new lease on life, nor her new persona.

Ryoko grabbed a towel that a nearby medical tech offered and dried her face, yes it was good to finally be out of that glass prison.

She looked around carefully at the people present, so much concern she felt from them for both her and Skirata, it was heartwarming. Then she felt the waking presense of another as she turned around. She smiled and thought to herself, Good of you to be awake Kal, we have alot to discuss when you're ready.

She stood there and pressed her hand to the glass of his bacta tank, not much longer she thought. She felt a slight tension rise from certain other people in the room when she did it too, she didn't really care though.

Their conversation was unique and most likely interesting to review...at a later time. She was in fact, a busy woman with an operation to Nal Hutta and Nar Shaada to coordinate with the military.

With Carnor's tone aside, she took this time to excuse herself from their rather masculine charged conversation and taunt him in a different way.

Walking over to the lead medical doctor, she spoke a few words to him in a soft, yet excited tone, before looking to Jax in an exaggerated form of secrecy. A smile curled on her face and she pointed to Kalydon Skirata, while mouthing some instructions. With a dip of the old man's head, Alatáriël Pallanén-Davad began towards the door.

"Of course. Good day Jax, Denora. Have a nice conversation outside the doors." With a final nod towards Master Yoogle, the Thanagarian departed. As the doors closed behind her, she no doubt left a confused and paranoid Imperial.

Jase Denora was an interesting, but welcomed asset against a possible hostile Imperial. His attitude was still wild, unrefined by the training Yoogle could offer the young human, but it was typically the inability to control one's self that created the image Jase Denora bestowed upon his own accord.

What was more interesting, was that these two had heard of each other before. Yoogle silently reflected on this, making a note to investigate and ask Denora at a later time.

The symbols on Carnor Jax's suit matched Sith runes, and the odd complexity of his mind's silence could finally be explained. It would also match why he was close to Vader's person, a man who was known to train apprentices on his own will.

Yoogle's mind was ever so patient in collecting information, but when it came to the Sith, it raced with anticipation. How Jax had been careful to conceil himself... His lightsaber was probably hidden, if he did intend have it upon him.

Yoogle turned to Ryoko, the individual now rising from the warm liquid of the bacta. Yes, he thought, [i]The Imperial officer that ran to Arlyn, on pure instinct that Kalydon was harmed was part of the Force. Yoogle internally smirked, his mind coming around to all the facts that seemed to lock into place.

What this man didn't know, however, was that Yoogle himself lodged a high yield bomb and destroyed the majority of the higher ranking Sith tombs. Too long had they plagued the galaxy... and what him and his Korriban comrades would come to discover, was nothing but the ashes of the evil past.

Yoogle's attention never left Denora and Carnor, his ability to keep many senses on their conversation silently watching, waiting for another slip up on both accounts. In the meantime, Kalydon was also raw from the chambers. With the darkness united with the light, Ryoko could also answer his questions. He waited for Ryoko to be robed before approaching her, outside of Jax's ears. "Much to talk about, we do."

He offered two choices. One was with Kalydon, the other was without. He had a feeling she would choose to explain the instance with the man she loved, versus leave him in the dark.

In another room she had finished getting most of her uniform back on, and kept the jacket off. Returning to the tank room she saw that Kal was being hoisted out of the tank, fully conscious. She could also bet that he had a few questions for her as well.

"Much to talk about, we do." Yoogle said as he approached her.

Ryoko smiled slightly at the little green Jedi before looking back to Kal, "I suppose we do have a bit to discuss...and yes, I would like him to be present." she said before looking back at Skirata, "I've kept far too many secrets from him, he deserves to know the truth." There was a hint of sadness and regret in her eyes, a quiet sorrow.

His vision was returning as he was waking, he figured he was in a bacta tank judging by the lukewarm liquid that he was immersed in. He looked around slowly, his head still hurt like hell. He saw a few faces he didn't recognize, probably just the medical staff...and a few faces he did. Carnor Jax was there, probably to ensure that the Rebels didn't do anything they'd end up regretting. The Security Chief Pallanén was there too along with the Jedi Yoogle...probably to offset Jax's presence.

Then he noticed someone else, this person being the one who just put her hand on the glass of the tank, that crazy Rebel girl. He shuddered again, just thinking of her made his head hurt more. He just remembered what he'd just been through though, all the flashbacks he had...the odd part about it all was that they seemed a hell of a lot more real that simple memories, almost as if he was reliving what happened.

Kal filed that away in with all the other things that made little sense and focused his attention on the girl just outside the tank. She looked different than she did when he saw her earlier, he couldn't quite place it but something about the way her eyes stared at him...there was something about the eyes.

He saw an indicator on the outside flash green and he felt himself being hoisted out, now he could get some answers to the many questions he had...he could use a drink too, a hot cup of caf sound incredibly good at that moment.

It is not very Jedi-like to jump to assumptions, Alex, especially with such a powerful accusation as being a Sith. Sith runes can be used simply as a tool, just like Japanese kanji on a kimono - doesn't mean the wearer is Japanese. As for the mental silence, even certain humanoid species are impervious to mental probes, and if you DID probe Jax would have known... I believe I made mention of that earlier on.

I justified my assumptions with completely logical statements, ones you agreed with, yet you are using OOC facts and knowledge to support what you want your character to know. Please discuss this with me or change the post. Thank you.

Moving On. :P

Master Yoogle stood waiting for the Imperial officer to robe and dry from the bacta fluid. The Force flowing through the Jedi as his mediation slowly dwindled, as he no longer needed his mind in multiple places.

Remembering the request, he looked at Denora and Jax and signalled that they would now leave the room. Turning back to Ryoko, he once again patiently waited until Kalydon was able to join them and the pair of Force Sensitives were outside the door.

Ryoko sat down as Jax and Denora left, she sighed silently and thought, this is it, moment of truth. She was a bit nervous, she didn't know how Kal would take the news.
"So" she started, "I guess you have a few questions about what happened." She knew he did, and she wanted to answer all of them, but a few of the answers would have to wait until they were more alone.

"Indeed, the first of which would be why I was launched into a table and a wall..." he said, Ryoko could feel that he was calm and curious, and suspicious. She was going to let him know there was nothing to be suspicious of.

"I do have an answer for you, you may or may not like it Kal", she said as he raised an eyebrow. She reached towards her face and removed the eye lenses that she had so long used. The former hazel eyes were now tiger like and yellow-gold in color. She then put some effort into removing the synthetic skin she was using on her face, hair and all. Her natural cyan hair flowed freely again.

She smirked, it was good to get rid of that synthetic crap, though it hid her real face well there was no need of it anymore. She looked at Skirata and half smiled, "Well...surprise."

If Kal had been standing he might have stumbled backwards and fallen to the floor in shock. After all these years, all the torment he put himself through, all the anger, that cold hatred he had used to focus himself towards his goals...all for nothing. She was here, alive and well apparently...and awkwardly enough in a Rebel uniform.

"...I see." is all he could manage to say. There was a mix of emotion welling up inside him, confusion and anger for the most part. Confusion towards the fact that she was alive, yet he was certain she was killed almost a decade ago...anger towards the fact that she was wearing the uniform of those very people who had apparently almost killed her before.

Yet he also felt a sense of relief, relief that she was sitting before him, still alive, and apparently still cared for him.

"That's all you have to say lover boy?" she said with a smile, "It's been too long Kal'ika, too long and we've been too far apart."

Kal's suspicions of her being a sort of clone or infiltrator were subsiding, somehow he just knew that she was the real thing, the person who would have been his wife. He even remembered that she liked to use the affectionate Mando'a way of referring to him...as well as other nicknames.
"Indeed it has been, but if I may ask, why did you wait so long to tell me you were alive? After what happened..."

"Yes I know, I should have told you sooner...assuming I had remembered who I even was. After that day my memories and personality were, fractured I guess you could say. It's like I've been a different person these past years." She paused, looking straight into his eyes once again.
"Seeing you again triggered something, my old memories are back, and I feel like my old self again."

Kal started to relax now, "...one question I still have, just how did you survive that sniper wound? Any normal person would be dead, or at the least have a permanent loss of function in the back."

Ryoko shrugged her shoulders, "I don't have a clue why I'm still alive, though I can't say I'm complaining...nor should you." she said in a playful manner.

"Who said I would complain? Well...now that you mention it..." he responded with a slight chuckle. He wanted to tease her now, something he hadn't had the chance to do in ages.

She narrowed her eyes, "Don't you even dare."

Kal smiled in a devilish fashion, "Come now, you know me better than that...at least, you did."

She rolled her eyes, "Yeah yeah...so, what else do you want to know my wonderful little Mandalorian?"

Kal's left eye twitched at what she called him, in private he didn't mind what they called each other...but there was a Jedi present, he felt a small sense of embarrassment. He quickly buried it and continued talking. "Well, knowing why you're wearing that would be nice too." as he pointed to her Alliance uniform.

"...ahh." she said, "That...from what fragments of my old memories I did have at the time from, my perspective it was the Imperials next to you who shot you that day. My former personality after the fracture leaned towards the Rebels because of that."
Kal raised an eyebrow at that statement, all of this because of the way events were perceived...
"Alot of other things happened afterwards, it all pushed me to join the Rebels." Kal still sat silently, listening to her story as she continued.

"So what now Jennifer?" he finally asked.

Ryoko's head shot up, "Uhh...well, to tell you the truth...my real name was always Ryoko, Jennifer was a cover...I was hiding from some bad people that are very much dead now. I'll tell you about that when we're more alone." She carefully concealed her thoughts on that matter, away from any snooping minds.

Kal rubbed his chin, "Ryoko huh? You know I kinda like it...still, what are we going to do about this now? I doubt your superiors would appreciate you going out with an Imperial...it would look awkward for them I'm sure."

He was interested in finding out who she was hiding from though, very interested. If someone was threatening his lover, he wanted to know their name, where they were, and how much if would take to make the rest of their life as unpleasant as possible.

She cocked an eyebrow, "We'll deal with that issue when it comes. What about your superiors?"

Kal shrugged, "For me to answer that I'd first have to care about their potential criticisms on me and you." he said with a smile. Ryoko grinned at that.

Ryoko looked at the Jedi Master, "Any advice to offer on what to do here?"

Sorry if it looks like a mishmash of text...I really ought to do something about these colors.:?

Yoogle hummed a simple response, "Advice, yess..." his voice trailed, the careful explanation Ryoko had given Skirata was interesting, she had only held back certain bits of information that she wished for only Skirata to know. It was unclear if Yoogle's mind investigation presence was undetected and for now, he would only hint at what he had seen.

"After the Force bubble accident, open your minds were." Yoogle smiled gently, using his own abilities of the Force to search for clarity in his explanation, "What Ryoko says, true, it is. Sensed a dual personality, I have." Moments earlier Yoogle would have defended Elizabeth from any kind of personality that wasn't supposed to be there, in the end, it was only a clear picture of her past.

"Marriage to an Imperial brings not treason, but distrust." No legal sanctions could be acted on Ryoko... Intelligence may tap her communications, investigate and survelliance her. Which at the moment, any kind of trust that Elizabeth had gained while inside the faction, was already faltering. The emergence of a new personality wouldn't exactly weigh in any favors. They had placed an odd amount of trust into Elizabeth from the beginning, yet now, her original personality has resumed, her love for Skirata stronger than before... no practical mind would place any kind of tactical dependacy on the woman.

"For now, wait and see, the rebellion commanders' reactions, we will." Yoogle had a feeling Arlyn would run just about every security percaution, perhaps even task a dozen specialists to look of her case, her background, recent transactions and place assets into proper respect to prevent future and most likely expected, treason. "Simple, my advice is. At least a day you should spend, together, on Denon." He pointed to Skirata, "Learn about her past, you must in greater detail.A decade was a long time for lovers, and in that time frame, it would be rare things were aligned for a continued relationship.

He pointed at Ryoko, "From Skirata, learn of the time and the life that has passed. Understand that with death, comes terrible emotions." Ryoko should be able to forgive any kind of weak moments Skirata has had, whether it be in anger or temporary lust... even perhaps, a new significant other. They needed time together. He looked at both of them, "Find a plausible course of action, I cannot. Your hearts must find these desires."

He added, "Do not feel trapped," he was speaking more to Skirata, "Arranged changing occupations, can be. In your heart, trust you must."

Yoogle wasn't sure if that would help the two young lovers, but he waited to see if they needed anything else.

Sorry it took so long, and was so badly written Kal. :P

Ryoko smiled, "I'd like that actually, we've both been apart so long, we could use some quality time together." She winked towards Kal who once again raised an eyebrow. She was taking this rather well too, she was concerned slightly for how her superiors would react to her choices...though not very. Things will work out in the end, she thought to herself.

Kal still retained his usual semi-cold look, "Come to think of it I could use a day off, in these past several years I haven't once taken a vacation...not since Roon anyway." He considered the possibility of a trap, but he wasn't a priority target for the Alliance; Emperor Vader was here on Denon personally, and the Death Squadron was in orbit. No, he thought, they're not stupid enough to try something with all of that around. Even worse for them is what Jax would do to the the Rebels if they tried against him.

"I'll need to make a few arrangements first with my superiors though." he added. Ryoko was beginning to worry, he didn't seem all that excited to see her...then again could she really blame him? It's been nearly ten years after all, much has happened in that time, he may not even want to be with her anymore...

She sighed and asked the little Jedi Master, "Now how is this going to get set up? And who's paying for it?"

Kal stood while Ryoko was working out the details with the Jedi and walked over to one of the med techs, "I need a terminal to contact the Executor in orbit." He motioned to the terminal on a nearby wall. "Thank you" Kal said. The tech nodded towards him and gave Kal an odd stare as he walked away.

Kal stood still for a split second and contemplated the look before going over to the terminal, one might think he'd never seen a gracious Imperial before Kal thought...he activated the terminal and got a link to the Traumatize, taking time to inform the ranking Naval officer there of his situation and of the fact that he'll remain on Denon for an extra day or two for personal reasons.

As he concluded his message he remembered to add in something, "And please inform Colonel General Scyntor of my status, as well as the Starfury pilots in Delta Squadron." The man he'd been speaking to gave a salute which Kal returned as ended the communication.

Returning to the room with Ryoko he sat down again, "I'm ready to go whenever you are" he told her.

Jase took his post at the left side of the door, outside of the room for the two's privacy. Not bothering to even attempt watching Jax, Jase kept his eyes ahead of him, leaning on the walking staff heavily. He let his other senses attune to the atmosphere of the hallway, not relying merely on his eyesight. It had been one of the first things he had taught himself as a young assasin. As he let his hearing and smell override his eyesight, he thought back to what he had done to Sarafina and his son. He knew he had had no other choice. There had been no option but to get them off of the planet before Avaritus could have made a connection.

Still, he had to let her know. Know how he felt, how someday he would come back to them; and finally have a family again. Not now, though, it was too dangerous with Avaritus still alive. He thought back to the fight, why couldn't he have finished Avaritus off? he knew why, of course he knew why. He had held back his emotions for too long. Even when he had watched Erics' murdered in front of him, he held back. If only I had loosed my anger earlier... He knew it wouldn't have changed the fact that Erics was dead, but Avaritus might have joined him. There was no question, jase knew he was stronger when he let the Dark and his emotions flow together in battle. I will avenge you my son, then I will raise a family in your honor, I swear it...

Jase Denora.

The man was an enigma, though Lord Avaritus had spoken of their encounter in the past. The Jedi was halfway to becoming a Sith already, and possibly did not realize it. The gift of fury was not one bestowed to many, much less in those with the Force, yet the man held his anger in a tenuous grip. It was evident not only through the waves of emotion held in restraint that wafted from Jase like the stench of an over-ripened fruit, but the distraction and lack of focus that he displayed at this sentry post.

Lord Olethros' gaze was still locked ahead, keeping his perceptions carefully concealed and especially out of the room that Skirata and Ryoko shared. His thought turned to Denora, and a smirk tugged at his lips. There was so much opportunity here for testing, for probing... even for mischief, which amused the former Sovereign Protector greatly. Nevertheless it was not wise to anger a dragon in his home... no, best to do it on a level playing field, where reinforcements could not be called on a whim to save your sanity. Nevertheless, there was a clear tone of amusement in his voice as he continued to stare straight ahead.

"Before I forget, Jase Denora... Lord Avaritus sends his regards. He hopes you will join him on Coruscant to enjoy a nice... ballgame." A cruel smirk played on the concealed lips, his body already shifting with imperceptible changes to accommodate an explosive reaction from the Jedi.

Jase's eyes went wide with realization at Jax's words. Suddenly, he knew that Jax was definately much more then just a deadly Imperial adversary. He was a Sith....he had to be. There was no other possible way he could know that information. No other way he would have heard of the battle from Avaritus. Black gloved hands gripped the walking staff tight, knuckles turning white under the fabric. This man...he knew much more then Jase was willing to let him know. As his anger and shock grew, he suddenly felt a surge of the Force return to his control. The Dark Side within him exerted itself, sending out a mild shockwave of Force energy as the sturdy, metal staff creaked and twisted under the suddenly enhanced strength of Jase.

It was the same as when he had been consumed as he fought Skywalker on Tatooine. No, it wasn't the same. There wasn't nearly as much power, due to his recovering injuries. Yet, it was there, surging through him again. he knew he couldn't lash out. He was still in no shape for a one on one duel and there was no need to ignite a war over personal feuds. He would resolve it his way. As the staff bent in his hands, Jase gritted his teeth, his shoulder length black hair seeming to flutter in a non existent breeze created by the Dark surge of power in him.

" You tell... that cowardly, child killing piece of bantha shit; that if he can come to me on a world where neither side of this treaty is waiting to start another war. That is, if he can come out from under Vader's cape for long enough. Then, I will give him the death he deserves..."

The sudden surge of emotion was like lum to Jax's senses. The Sith Lord took in the wave of sensation and held it in his heart, clenching down upon the whirling blackness until it absorbed into him. The words were harsh, spoken out of anger and frustration, sorrow and regret... and they were as sweet as candy to the perceptions of the Dark Lord. His eyes closed, and he pulled a deep breath as if to steady his balance while feding off that emotion.

As the heady sensation of the absorption faded into the depths of obscurity, a new emotion began to feed into his own body. The thrill of prodding a Jedi, of forcing him into a situation where he lost self-control was a feeling that Lord Olethros enjoyed immensely. His voice equally soft, seeming to boom in that tense silence the two warriors-come-guards shared. "I will be sure to forward your... sentiments... to Lord Avaritus, though I believe that Jabiim is a fair distance away from any held terretories. I am sure, if you wanted, I could have him sent there. However, in your condition, I doubt you would be able to land a blow before you met the same fate as poor little Erics. Such a shame, too..." the Sith Lords lips curled into an evil smile, one evident in his voice.

"I"m sure he would have grown up into a wonderful adult. A shame, indeed..."

Yoogle beamed at the progress that was already being made.

"A rebellion controlled hotel, yes..." Yoogle answered her, "Free of charge." It was a rather lavishing hotel, at least to their needs. Yoogle detected a disturbance in the Force, a core member world of the Rebellion was receiving a massive number of unwanted guests.

"As long as you need, stay you can." the hotel held a number of Rebellion police agents, and security that would overlook and watch both for Skirata's safety, and his deception. He was still an Imperial. Yoogle had many matters to attend to, and the first was securing the Jedi Temple. With mutliple Sith now on the surface, the extradite of these forces would need to be seen extreme care... and the security forces should be armed with the Force inhibiting liquid that once stunned the great Killik leader.

Yoogle departed, his own mind dwelling on the world of Kashyyyk and the Jedi Temple that required his immediate attention. The Jedi Master passed through the door, the bickoring of Jase Denora and Carnor Jax paused momentarily as he emerged. Looking into Jax's eye placement, the Jedi spoke. "See each other, again we will."

Mentally, Yoogle spoke to Jase, "Careful, young one. No emotion, intimidates this creature the best."

Leaving the presence of the Sith, and the iron hearted Denora, Yoogle departed.

Ryoko thanked the Jedi before he left, it was more than she thought her and Kal would get too. She figured they'd get a room here or in some other facility, but a hotel suite? She smirked at the thought.

As she and Kal stood to leave a security officer arrived to escort them to their room, "If you'll follow me please." the captain said in a calm tone. They left the med bay and Ryoko saw Denora and another man, tall and imposing standing guard, she looked straight into his eyes as she walked by, something about him seemed familiar though, but she didn't place much importance in it.

"Where are we staying?" she asked the security captain. "Embassy Suites ma'am." he replied. Ryoko noticed that Kal had gone silent since they left, she started getting worried again, this kind of behavior wasn't like him...though they had been apart for so much time.

They all got into a speeder that the captain was piloting and within a few seconds they were off to their suite...Ryoko thought about what she would do there, and she got a mischievous grin from the ideas she came up with.

Jase averted his attention from Jax's mind games as Yoogle left the room. He didn't bother responding to the creature's mental words. Not that he was wrong, though. He had to stay reserved with Jax. Showing such aggravation would be a sign of weakness. Even with such a sensitive topic, he had to remain strong. Avaritus would have his uppance, then he would focus his attention on this Sith who showed no respect for the dead. Calming his demeanor and quelling the sudden surge of Force energy, he let himself retake his apathetic appearance.

Just as he was going to respond, Skirata and Lockley left the room, escorted by a security team to whatever destination they had chosen. Watching them leave, Jase nodded to the security team that arrived to escort Jax back to the Imperials. Leaning on the walking staff again, he began exiting the hall, stopping to speak again without facing the Sith. " I don't have the time for your mind games, Sith. return to the idealisms you live by and lick at the heels of your Emperor. Next time we meet, show more respect for the dead, you may join them sooner then you wish. As for Avaritus, perhaps I will save enough of him to send back to you. Good day, Carnor Jax."

With that, Jase left the building, climbing into the speeder that waited him and left that sector of the city.

What was she doing here?

Seeing into Ryoko's eyes, Jax felt a flash of memory, a sensation of remembrance through his consciousness. A surge of mental imagery: twin torches burning in the dark, the low thrum of an incantation, and just as suddenly as it appeared, it was gone. He knew that visage, that being that strode from the Rebel bacta tanks so cooly, but from where? Before he gave himself away, though, he locked down his perceptions and brought himself back to the present just as Jase responded.

The Jedi had responded hotly, barely containing his rage before storming out. As he departed he could almost taste the fury that Jase Denora radiated, and he drank it in like a beachcomber absorbed solar rays. The elixir of emotion soaked into his skin, vitalizing him, catalyzing with his own suppressed frustration, fermenting until he could almost palate it. Allowing only a smirk to play on his concealed lips, he followed Kalydon until he and Ryoko entered their own speeder.

Allowing the two the privacy they needed, Jax turned towards the hangar complex and gazed up at the air security tower. Pathetic was the only thing that entered into Jax's mind as he started running towards the terminal, thinking that if this had been Coruscant and the same stunt had been pulled, several squadrons of starfighters would have been mobilized and waiting for the incoming party before they even reached the stratosphere.

He flicked an internal commlink, his voice soft but diamond-hard, brittle as a sun-baked skeleton. "Lord Avaritus, we've reached the end of our stay. Bring Lord Vader to the security complex and have him board the shuttle, send Admiral Onca back to the Traumatize in one of the fighters." The comm switched off as Jax flew through the air, leaping from one of the towers and flipping twice before landing heavily in a tri-point crouch within visual range of the TIE Defenders. The hulking shape of the folded Lambda shuttle just beyond, he made his way there to inspect the craft prior to their departure.
