Telos IV:

Telos IV, or more commonly called Telos, is the only habited planet in the system. A large city has begun to spread across the north side of the planet named Thani. On the south, the humongus Citadel Station hangs in orbit.

History:

Jedi Civil War And Mandolorian War
Telos might have been one of the Galaxy's most unfortunate planets, but has been able to overcome its problems. Several thousand years ago, it served as an outpost for the Old Republic as a meditation spot and agricultrual area. However, this did not last. The new sith lord Revan ordered Saul Karath to bombard the planet as a test of his loyalty. The effects were devstating. Millions died and Telos was turned into a wasteland.

Years later, a project was launched to restore the planets surface to its prior state. To manage the project, Citadel Station was constructed. With the help of the Ithorians, life was re-introduced on the planet. However, more troubles began.
Onderon, the source of Telos' new wildlife and animals, was breaking away from the Republic. On top of that, Citadel's population became to numerous to be policed by the Telos Security Force. Czerka Corporation offered the Republic small bid-estimates for resupply and security contracts. The Republic accepted, and so Citadel came to be policed by Czerka thugs. Using loop-holes, Czerka began to take control of the station and the entire restoration project. However, with the arrival of the Jedi Exile, the Ithorians were able to expose Czerka's motives and have them thrown off the station.

Soon, however, Telos fell under attack from the Sith. The Telos Security Force, along with the unitedd Mandalorian Clans and the Khoonda Militia organized an attack to take the enemy's flagship, the Ravager. The operation was a sucsess, and the battle was won.

Last century of the Republic:
After 3,900 years of prosperty, Telos began to fail. The planet suffered from famine and civil war. Then Xantos turned the planet upside down through use off the Offworld Corporation. However, with the intervention of Qui-Gon Jinn, the planet was restorned to its rightful goverment.

Recent History:

The Mando'ade Pact:
Signed in 9 ABY, the Mando'ade Pact verfied Mandolrians the right to call Telos home. Over the next few years Telos flurrished, and Thani, the planet's captial, began to swell with economic growth. Within 3 years the population multiplied from 2 billion to 8 billion, including nearly 1,000 Mandalorians. There was a catch, however; many Telosians distrusted the newcomers, which lead to many disputes. Eventually, the majority of the non-Mandalorian population moved from the surface to Telos station, where they believed their troubles would end.

The Citadel Treaty:
In 12 ABY the Citadel Treaty was formed. It said that Citadel Station, populated with many origonal Telosians, and Thani, where the majority if the world's Mando'ade lived, would be united under one goverment, which came to be known as the Citadel Krytocracy. The document stated the new rights of each group, and abolished many barriers that had arisen before. With the signing of the Treaty, Telos became once again known to the galaxy, and once more could thrive.
