The black boots of the beast rang throughout the hall as he moved on observing the going-ons of the massive tower. The rigid grey walls were swarming with the bugs known to the galaxy as "Killik". They were of many colors, shapes and sizes. Although they were not evil, they were not 'good'. To the Hive thier was niether good nor was thier evil. There was perfection, and there was imperfection.
Noruas had made the Killik think that they were born to perfect the galaxy, and they would do anything to make the galaxy perfect...

Rank upon rank of droid soldiers stood attentivly outside the tower, yet inside the walls. Spiders climbed the walls and the tower, and they clicked mandible rapidly, communicating. Noruas responded with a snap of his fingers. The spiders were silent.
"My brothers, for over a year the terrorists within the Rebel Alliance have mocked us, and belittled us. No more! In two weeks, we shall begin our march. The Rebels will fall and we shall rise once more, and not even the Celestials shall stop us!"
Mandibles started to click. The war had begun, and soon the Killik would act, and they would forever remain the lords and masters of this galaxy. And the next.
"Yes..... very soon..." Noruas whispered to himself, as the appluading Killik cheered, and they waited. Soon enough they would rule. And this time they would rule for all eternity.

The dry air surrounded him, and the place was empty. The grand stage on which this game was set had been emptied in his corner, nothing left. The "Nespis Republic" had seized it all. His money, his weapons, his skills - all gone or deteriorated. Everything was lost. He had nothing left, but his one, most valuable assets - complete control of the Killik Hives on the planet Yoggoy. The planet was his - and it would remain that way for all time, as he saw fit. The legacy of Kuat of Kuat would live on through him.

He strode out of his deep meditation chamber, and shocked several men standing outside of the door, guarding the secrets of Ba-Nand. The planet was his, and power surged once more through his body. He went to his observation tower where he last addressed his forces, and he stood there. A few minutes passed.

"I have returned."

It smelled different from his previous visits to the many gardens of Burud-Rur. The once gray plants, some of which were the last of their species, had turned into a green shade. The air was finally capable of being pierced by the bright star of Yoggoy Prime. The air smelled different, it smelled... pure. The ghastly thought that Yoggoy was cleaning up came to his mind. He only had one thing to mutter when the realization came to his clouded mind, still trying to awaken from his meditation period, Disgusting. The Urbanization of Yoggoy had killed nearly all plant life on the planet - Noruas kept only enough around to allow the Killik to live, but not for them to enjoy the scenery. This is what democracy brought. Disorderliness, a death rate, and low productivity. It was a waste of thought which could've been used on improving his many droid foundries.
The first of many credits flowed into the Confederate coffers once more. Eleven fresh billion - a little under a billion invested in the Corellian Engineering Corporation's smaller ships. During his long period of musing, Noruas had stumbled upon the reason for the Fall of the Confederate. He always though too big. Instead of having small battle groups of good sized ships, counterbalanced against once another, the Confederate used a numbers strategy, which led to her demise at every battle she was ever involved in. Fighter tactics were nonexistent in his previous reign, but he knew how to do his job now. The War that was coming would be his and his alone. The Galaxy would once again remember the name, Noruas.
"Commodore," he beckoned, "What is the status of your fleet?" The man, one of few who remained loyal to Noruas and his dark reign pulled out a datapad, "Corellians have yet to confirm, my liege." Incompetence. This was intolerable, he needed those ships to retake Tepasi. He almost raised his hand to kill the man, but he found himself halting. The man was one his best, and only, tacticians remaining loyal to the Yoggoy Confederate. The others had rebelled after his apparent death, leaving him so few souls to replace this man with, should he have died there that day. The moment was tense, the Commodore knew what his great leader was about to do, yet the act never came. And the tension was shortly thereafter broken as the now blue atmosphere was covered in black.

This can only mean one thing, Noruas mused to himself as he rushed to the gate with the local police unit stationed within the Fortress' walls.

We're under siege.
